I had the pleasure of working with Rodney & owner of Sustainable Hydro & I couldn't be happier…read more I've been ordering Montana Grow Amendment (the powdered version) for over 3 years because my indoor cannabis garden, veggies, & houseplants are loving this stuff. I amend my living soil with 1 Cup of Montana Grow per cubic foot of soil, 2 cups Basalt, 1 Cup Oyster Shell Flour, 1 cup Gypsum, & then a 1/2 cup of each nutrient such as Kelp Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Karanja Cake, Neem Cake, 2-Row Malted Barle,y Mustard Seed Meal, Rice Bran, 60% Peat Moss, 25% aeration (15% Pumice, 10% Rice Hulls), 15% Compost (10% Compost & 5% Worm Castings) & 3% Pre-charged Biochar. Then I mix it, hydrate it with water with Recharge, Kelp Extract Powder, EM-1, ThermX-70 Yucca, then pH that solution to 6.5 and water in and then I let the soil sit for 2 weeks to cook or until the soil temperature drops below 80°F. This recipe is directly from Clackamas Coot's himself and super effective and works for everything for seed starting, clones, mature plants, and this soil is NOT hot so you can start your seeds in it if you want but because of Rice Hulls the seeds will get covered with mold once you have high humidity so instead, I start seeds in almost plain peat moss with 1/3 perlite, very little 10% compost, Oyster Shell Flour to raise soil pH, and I add a little vermiculite, a little Montana Grow, mix it up, check soil pH to make sure it's between 6.2 and 6.5 but I always try to get it as close to 6.5 pH as possible. That's it, that's my starting seeds recipe. I hope this helps. I highly recommend Montana Grow because of so many benefits that I'm NOT gonna start listing them here but there's a lot! Thank you Rodney, it's been a pleasure doing business with you!
