Used to be a good barbecue restaurant now if you like it try it and see I'm not a fan of it anymore. I've only been in here twice - stopped here on this particular day simply to avoid the traffic at Casey's up the street - but I will never set foot in Bear Stop again. What we like best about 5 Corners is the E85. This review is not the place to debate the pros & cons of E85. For those who don't like it (or whose cars can't use it), they also sell diesel and various grades of gasoline here. We have chosen to burn E85 whenever possible, and we can do this only because of the owner's commitment to offering this choice to customers. The Shell at 5 Corners is the only gas station in Fort Scott that offers E85. In fact, it is the only gas station on a major highway in Southeast Kansas that sells E85. BTW, the diesel pumps are in their own islands, so it's easy for semi-trailer trucks to fill up. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the E85 pumps were also separate. A lot of people buy gas here, and it seems like we often have to wait for a pump. Edit: I forgot to add, they have free WiFi. I would give them another 1/2 star for that if I could!
