Please note: This review is of the Shell gas station at 5 Corners Mini-Mart, and not the Mini-Mart store itself. This is because I always pay at the pump, and am not familiar with the store. What we like best about 5 Corners is the E85. This review is not the place to debate the pros & cons of E85. For those who don't like it (or whose cars can't use it), they also sell diesel and various grades of gasoline here. We have chosen to burn E85 whenever possible, and we can do this only because of the owner's commitment to offering this choice to customers. The Shell at 5 Corners is the only gas station in Fort Scott that offers E85. In fact, it is the only gas station on a major highway in Southeast Kansas that sells E85. BTW, the diesel pumps are in their own islands, so it's easy for semi-trailer trucks to fill up. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the E85 pumps were also separate.
