I've worked retail and actually in a convenience store similar to this place, so previous reviews are not really valid in my opinion. Smaller stores rarely have much cash in the register so im not surprised they are unable to cash large amount of money won on scratch offs. I thought everyone knew that grocery stores are where you are supposed to go for that, they have plenty of money unlike small gas stations. I feel for the employees bc I go regularly and see what kind of human trash they have to deal with day in and day out. The prices are rather high, but I suppose that's just the convenience tax. Im just happy that I get greeted with a smile every time and they even remember my usual purchases.
