Not so "fast" today I usually have a smooth experience with Fast Park & Relax, but today was a different story. I waited close to 30 minutes for a shuttle to meet me at RDU, which was frustrating. I'm not sure if it was a driver shortage or just an overload of travelers, but there was nothing "fast" about today's service. After returning from an exhausting cross-country business trip, I landed at Raleigh-Durham Airport close to midnight and proceeded to retrieve my car from FastPark. Upon reaching the exit, I realized I didn't have a paper ticket from entry, so I approached an male attendant, who wore glasses, for assistance, showing the QR code I had used to enter the facility. Instead of clarifying the issue, the attendant responded with visible irritation and sarcasm, ultimately escalating the situation to his manager. When the manager arrived, she immediately confirmed that my QR code was indeed the credential needed to exit. The entire interaction, which could have been resolved in seconds, turned unnecessarily tense due to a lack of basic customer service engagement. From a leadership and HR perspective, this exchange underscores a critical gap in employee training and emotional intelligence--particularly in frontline customer-facing roles. The attendant demonstrated limited ability to manage stress, communicate respectfully, or apply problem-solving judgment in a late-night, high-fatigue scenario. This type of behavior reflects not only on the individual but also on the organization's culture and training standards. It suggests the need for refresher training in customer service fundamentals, empathy, and de-escalation techniques. Starting with the positive, our driver Marcus S was awesome. Customer service star for 2024. I've been a FastPark customer since it opened in Raleigh, after tonight I'm questioning whether or not I want to remain as a customer. We waited over a half hour for a shuttle, and when one finally showed up, IT DROVE BY EMPTY WITHOUT STOPPING. I called the phone number on the ticket and experienced the absolute rudest customer service I've had in a long time. The person who answered couldn't have cared less, told me basically to just suck it up in the cold and wait. The next shuttle showed up with Marcus driving it and he took care of everyone. I made my reservation 2 days in advance. Arrived, inserted my card, got clear directions to the row I should park in. Spots are a bit tight, and you do have to navigate around a posts that are close to the front doors. Parking spots are covered. Not really any wait to be picked up and comfortably shuttled to the airport terminal. The driver was courteous with clear announcements. Upon return I easily followed the directions on my parking card to pick up the shuttle from the airport. Despite a 9:30pm arrival/landing, the shuttle was waiting for me and quickly shuttling to my exact parking space. Easy to pay with a credit card and out the gate. Really disappointed with FastPark&Relax. I got back to RDU Friday, August 1. Landed right before the storm. I waited out in the weather 45 mins for a shuttle. I called and was told the drivers did not drive in the rain (BS). I set there and watched Enterprise, Avis and other shuttles come and go at least 3 times. Do better FastPark&Relax. Never again. Been using this business for a number of years, but now it seems greed has taken over. They claim to offer "100% covered" parking, but in fact they don't guarantee that. I made a reservation expecting covered parking but when i arrived, there were only open spots. If I have to accept an open spot, for the same price I can park at the airport and get better shuttle service. Anyone who has used Fast Park knows that the shuttles back from the airport are slow, and get overcrowded so you may need to wait for several shuttles to appear. The on-airport lots use big buses that run very frequently. read more

You are able to make reservations online prior to your date of travel to make sure that the lot won't be full when you want to utilize the parking lot and services. You are also told the price of the services when you book. When you arrive you scan in the bar code that was provided to you in your confirmation email. The parking lot is large and has covered parking spaces. When we arrived we were advised which aisle to park in. The shuttle drove up soon after and waited for us to get out of our vehicle. The shuttle driver got out and helped us with our baggage. Once inside the shuttle I was provided with a card with my parking space number and asked which airline we were flying. When we got back to the airport there was a shuttle at the airport so we didn't have to wait. Once we got in the shuttle the driver asked for the card with our parking info. The entire process was easy, convenient, and def cheaper than parking at RDU. read more

So traditionally I would give fast park 5 stars never had an issue when using them, their people are generally very polite and their busses regular. However until tonight I had not dealt with them in a busy time. Now that I have I might move forward with airport parking. I like lot 3. Tonight it was chaos there were crowds and the way RDU is organized means Uber/Lyft and fast park are all in same area which does make things a little chaotic to start, but there were so many fast park users they couldn't contain us and without set lines etc it was a madhouse people trying to get on Fri t of people, my wife and I finally got on 2 separate busses to make it back to our car. Then once there we were waved to another gate to checkout that was broken which resulted in us being stuck as the woman took our ticket so we could not even change lanes. It was pretty disappointing as was the lack of apology from the attendant. I've always felt fast park was An elevated experience but I'm no longer sure. The one advantage as we discussed was when my wife travels by herself it is a much safer location with to the car delivery for someone traveling alone. read more

It was quick, I waited around 1 minute. The bus driver was awesome, came outside to greet us, and put our bags in the car. I'd been hesitant to use this service but wow!!!! So glad I did. So easy. After read the reviews I decided to try it. Called to make sure they had space but will make online reservations from now on. Easy breezy check in. I was picked up in under a minute. Dropped at the Southwest door. Returned late - 10pm. Waited 4 minutes and was at my car 5 minutes later. Covered parking. Friendly fast checkout. Paid $47 for 4 FULL days/3 nights. That same trip cost me $80 parking at the airport last time. Highly recommend! read more

They run far feeer buses than it takes to keep up. it is not unusual to wait 20-30 minutes or more and even then they are leaving people behind. 25 minutes today and they left as many as they took. it's one thing when it is late at night but it is noon. Terrible service. read more

This is my second time parking here and it fantastic. You are picked up at your car and your bags are put in the van and than dropped of infront of your airline departure. When you get back just call and within five minutes you are picked up to be brought back to your car. read more

Sept 2022: I used Fast Park in Sept of 2022 and had a smooth experience. The young lady at the booth was patient and took her time giving me precise instructions. The shuttle came immediately after I parked and the ride was short to the airport. On return, I went to the designated pick up area and the shuttle arrived on time ( every 15/20 mins, I believe). Smooth ride back to Fast Park, was dropped off right at my parking space ~ and I was off to my home. Easy, simple process with everything moving along with no flows! read more

Wow, how can someone be impressed by a parking lot?! Well if you're going to be impressed by ANY parking lot, I'm pretty sure Raleigh FastPark & Relax will be the one. Located right off of Westgate Road, I spied a brightly lit landing zone on a plateau. Take a quick left and there's a large toll-gateway area leading to the lot. I get a ticket and newspaper from the attendant, turn down an aisle-way and grab the first available spot. In the minute it takes me to get out of the car and start removing my luggage, a small van pulls up behind me and in my luggage goes. With only four parties in the van, it takes 10 minutes or so to rumble over to RDU and we're all out at Terminal 2. I leave a tip for the driver and I'm in the terminal, quick as a bunny. Very slick and painless operation here! The return trip was a bit less perfect. I came out and wasn't sure where to pick up the shuttle, they're at Pre-arranged Parking at RDU, not super obvious. The shuttle I grabbed spent 15 mins at the curb. The driver was trying to max out the vehicle and jammed in more people than he should have. One person had to sit on their husband's lap. Then he had to drive by people waiting at Terminal 1 on a very cold day since the shuttle was full. When we finally got to the lot, while I was the first one on, I was the last person off. So from the time I got picked up to the time I was at my car was probably 30 minutes, longer than it should have been. If you're headed out for a longer trip (more than 2 days), I'm pretty sure Raleigh FastPark will save you some bucks and stress. At $5.50 per day versus the $12/day at the long term lot, you save money and get some extra benefits (newspaper, car wash, bottle of water) for the slight inconvenience of being bus'ed in. But if you are on time, there's no issue at all and the stress of finding a spot in RDU parking and then dragging your bags on a long walk to the terminal ain't much fun either! Overall I am very impressed with Raleigh FastPark. it's always great to see a business take something so mundane as parking and make it a great customer experience. So awesome job, RFPR! read more

Absolutely the worst employees at the facility ever. We arrived and a female employee was sitting in the little shack. I tried several times to get my printed barcode to scan but it would not and she was obviously too busy playing on her phone to help. I then pushed the button for a ticket and she leaned out and scolded me saying I should've scanned the barcode and now I had to use the ticket. Perhaps a better approach would have been to ask if we needed help, but she took the low road for sure. When we departed I understood why she hates her job and people so much. Upon leaving, Mike who is some kind of supervisor was the rudest and most unprofessional and sarcastic and unhelpful person I think I've ever met. No wonder the employees are so bad. I had my reservation which showed the bill would be approximately $75. I inserted my ticket into the machine and the bill was now $85 so I backed up and went to where Mike was at a booth. I told him my reservation said $75 and now it's $85. He said it was an estimate. I asked him why it went up $9 and he rudely said it was an estimate and we checked in 30 minutes early. I asked him how another 30 minutes was $9 extra and he began to get angry and even ruder. He demanded my ticket and I told him I put it in the machine so he huffed and puffed over and said it was lying on the ground. It obviously upset him to have to get out of his chair. I again asked him to explain how 30 minutes cost me $9 and it went downhill from there. After about a minute of debate I said I just wanted to leave as my wife and daughter were now getting upset in the car with the situation and I paid. I asked him his name and he said Mike, it's right there on the door. The extra bit of sarcasm was so unprofessional. How can Mike be employed anywhere? If he would have just took a moment to explain why the bill unexpectedly went up 10% things would've been much better. He obviously hates people and his job just like the first lady I spoke to upon arrival. Thanks for starting and ending my vacation on a terrible note. This can't be the first complaint about him and I hope my email to the manager improves his terrible attitude. On a positive note, the driver's were okay and the shuttle pickup was quick. I would gladly pay more to park at the airport than to give this place any business ever again. read more

Booked online, and made a mistake paying attention to the date when I did. I made the reservation for a day after when I needed. The guy through the intercom was super helpful in telling me what to do next. The people through the email, not so much, so avoid making a mistake when booking. The price was also the same online as when I pulled up, not sure if that's the norm. Parking was easy and close and covered! Only "complaint" is for my first time there, when I came back it wasn't super easy to find my way back to the parking garage/lot where I had parked. I also parked in the only lot open, which was walking distance and I believe $10 per day. More than I wanted to spend but the shuttle lots were not open. read more

I have used this parking service for years, even though I have to go out of my way and actually pass the airport to get to it since I live in Cary. It is a great value, and the service is very efficient. They tell you where to park as you enter and then a shuttle is there right away as you park to take you to the airport. The drive to the airport is quick, probably no more than 10 minutes. The service is friendly and you will be taken directly to your terminal. It's so convenient to be taken straight from your car to your terminal like that. You keep a card that they give you with your parking space on it so when you return they know where you parked and can take you straight to your car. Even if you return to RDU after midnight there are still frequent shuttles doing pick ups. I've learned that this service reduces your waiting and walking time greatly compared to anywhere else you can park. The price is the best too. Check for a corporate discount. I get a discount as an employee for a certain company. What's great is there is also a loyalty program so you can earn free days of parking after you have parked there for a certain number of days. I can't believe I'm just now finding out about FastPark. It's so convenient when you need to get to the airport early in the morning and don't want to bother family or friends. You reserve online, show up, drive to your designated parking row and then the shuttle is there waiting to drive you to the airport. Once you get back from your trip, just go to the appropriate Zone and a shuttle will be there to pick you up! This company will always be my go-to now. ***UPDATE*** I went away for another 6 day trip and have to say the service was a complete 180 of what I experienced the first visit. When I arrived the driver could not be more pleasant. Service was quick and on point. When I made it back to RDU and called for the ride, a different polite dispatcher said the shuttle should be arriving with 2-5 minutes. While it did take closer to 10 minutes, it wasn't 15 minutes like last time. I believe I may have caught them on an off day my first trip. I will continue to use the service for now. ***PREVIOUS*** I tried FastPark & Relax during a 3 day trip I had that ended yesterday. As I approached the bus at the terminal it took off without me. I called the number for the dispatcher to send another bus and a lady with an attitude answered, claimed the next bus would be there in 5 minutes and hung up on me. Sure enough it was triple that time to be picked up. The driver claimed there was 7 other busses running that day and the people left behind shouldn't have to wait long. (I only saw one other bus that we passed between terminal and lot.) Once I went to exit I tried to pull up to the manned booth to ask a question and the lady rudely waved me off towards one of the unmanned drive up kiosks. Other people on the bus with me who had used this shuttle before claimed that the service was subpar for the day. I will give them another shot again tomorrow for a 6 day trip and will adjust my rating accordingly. But for a first timer I was less than impressed. I have only recently heard about FP&R and thought it was just like one of those other park and ride situations, not understanding the magnitude of how wonderful it could be. I read the Yelp reviews for confirmation before heading to Seattle last week and decided to give it a try. Like the other Yelpers mentioned, the process is easy-peasy. You drive to the FP&R which, coming off of 5-40 is the US-70 exit, like you are going towards Angus Barn. Take the turn onto Westgate and FP&R is on the left. I have passed it a million times not knowing what it was. I went in, grabbed a ticket and was told which area to park in, but only after I was given a free newspaper. Just as soon as I get out, lock up, and grab my bag, the shuttle is waiting for me. The shuttle driver gave me a card with my parking space on it. I tucked it away into my wallet for safekeeping as I had read that other Yelpers lost their card and the staff were none to pleased about it. The shuttle picked up one other person in the lot and we were on our way. My ride to the airport was 5 minutes exactly- I timed it so I would know what to expect when I arrived back home. I was dropped off at the door to Terminal 2, and was helped with my bags. Arriving home, I walked right across the walkway out of Baggage Claim to the purple sign and the FP&R shuttle arrived within 2-3 minutes of me standing there. Again, I was helped with my bags, and I gave the driver my card with my parking spot on it. I was taken back to the lot, again 5 minutes away, to my exact spot. The driver loaded my bags into my car for me and waited to be sure my car started with no probs. It was raining so I did not take advantage of the free car wash, but I did get a free bottle of water as I was leaving. The price for each day was approx. $6/day! You cannot beat that!!!!! I will be a loyal customer of FP&R from this point on, especially since you can earn free parking with the FP&R member card! read more

Love that we didn't have to walk especially since it was a rainy day. The shuttle came within 5 minutes. Driver gives you ticket of number, but I recommend taking photo of it so no worries about lost ticket. They drop you off at terminal, due to logistics, you do have to walk from where they are allowed to drop you to the terminal, but it's not far. Repeat after you return. Love that they offer military and Aaa discounts. Will definitely utilize them again. read more
