Life-Changing Experience at Kickside Martial Arts!…read more Joining Kickside Martial Arts has truly been one of the most transformative decisions of my life. What began as a challenge quickly became a passion thanks to the supportive community, expert instruction, and motivating atmosphere this school provides. I'm currently a Sr. Blue Belt, and every step of the journey--both physically and mentally--has pushed me to grow in ways I never imagined. The instructors at Kickside are nothing short of extraordinary. They're not only high-degree black belts with impressive skill and experience, but also incredible teachers who are genuinely invested in their students' progress. Their passion for martial arts and dedication to helping each student succeed is clear in every class. The community here is something special. I've built meaningful relationships with fellow students who encourage and inspire one another every day. Whether you're just starting out or have years of experience, there's a place for you here--and you'll be surrounded by people who want to see you thrive. Seeing my progression (and the progress of so many others) displayed proudly in the front lobby is such a powerful reminder of how far we've come, and how much this school believes in celebrating every victory, big or small. Kickside Martial Arts isn't just a place to train--it's a place to grow, to challenge yourself, and to be part of something greater. I'm grateful every time I step onto the mat, and I'd highly recommend this school to anyone ready to start their own journey.

The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about teaching kids the fundamentals of jiu-jitsu. The class has not only helped my son develop physical skills like strength, flexibility, and coordination but also essential life skills like discipline, focus, and confidence. The training environment is supportive and encouraging, allowing kids to learn at their own pace while having fun. I've seen my son grow more confident and self-assured with each class, and the friendships he's made with his fellow students have been a bonus. I highly recommend this jiu-jitsu class to any parent looking for a positive and rewarding experience for their child. The instructors truly care about their students' growth and well-being, and it shows in the progress they've helped my son achieve. **Thank you so much to coach Jason, Kirk, Jaime, and all the assistant coaches for making this class so fulfilling on a daily basis!

The team helped me with some important stretching I could handle but my brain needed a nutrition & lifestyle reeducation to help me beat Diabetes and be prepared to strengthen my body. I was temporarily in a wheelchair and Karen ran over to bring me a container of protein powder shake mix. This helped contain my sugar reading swings but I needed more intervention with my diet. Karen & I surfed the web to find a program that meets my needs. In just a few days, my sugar readings are at a consistent in range that I haven't seen ever in 10 years as a diabetic. Now I'm 2 weeks into this shift in lifestyle. I'm walking a whole lot better, Anthony is building back my strength, we are discussing how to maintain this progress when I travel on business. Life is complicated. I knew I was not going to succeed by myself. Karen and Anthony really care about their clients and in a few short months I'm in a direction I thought I'd never see. My Endocrinolgist was happy surprised at my levels and thinks this direction will absolutely impact reducing my very high A1C. So, bottom line, LFTD Fitness is a great team. Very inclusive. Meet people in similar challenges. It's 1000x better to have a coach vs a gym membership for $9.99 a month. Get results when you work with LFTD Fitness

I took advantage of the free trial and I'm glad I did, because we will not be returning unfortunately. I'll start with the positives first, my 5 year old son looked like he had a good time. It was one swim instructor to about 3 children, and one by one she dealt with them, talking to them, while the others watched. He received googles during his time in the water, and overall looked like he was having a good experience. My 3 year old daughter on the other hand... was put in a lane that had two swim instructors, and four toddlers. Upon having both my children enter the water, I let the instructors know this was their very first time. My daughter's instructor asked me if it would be okay to dunk her which I appreciated, and I said if she is comfortable. That was all the positives for my daughter's experience. The two instructors talked to themselves the ENTIRE time. I do have all of this on video. I did not see my daughter receive any instruction. My daughter is very smart, and very brave, she watched what the other children were doing and copied them, but absolutely no instruction was given to her. Mind you, I'm sitting right in the front watching the whole thing!! You would think they would try just a smidge harder. Again, all of this is on video. When it came down to the dunking, my daughter was asked if she was okay going under, she said no. The instructor proceeded to dump water on her head, no explanation, no warning. My daughter was very confused, but she remained calm and kept wiping the water out her eyes. I'm so disappointed. Additionally, the other 5/6 swim instructors that did not have a class were talking so loudly amongst themselves, it was a very uncomfortable environment. Such a shame. I give an additional star only because my son's instructor was doing what she was supposed to do.

It's not cheap to use the pool and they don't limit how many people use it during open swim. If you have young kids and don't mind sharing the pool with multiple other families then it's perfect. If you want to use the pool for doing laps, exercise, or rehabilitation DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. If this place was smart they'd allot more time for people who want to use the pool to swim laps.
