There's a good variety of machines, but one downside is that some of them stay broken for a while. The "Out of Order" signs aren't always noticed since a lot of people are on their phones and might not see them. It would help if the signs were also placed where people adjust the weights--that way, it's more obvious. Still, it's a clean, affordable gym with plenty of room to get in a good workout. Overall the reformer Pilates class was a good experience. The workout itself was fairly basic, and well-scripted. The instructor clearly guided us through each movement, which made it accessible and easy to follow and asked in the beginning of the class if anyone had injuries or limitations where movements would need to be modified. The studio felt comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with just the right amount of space between people and equipment. It felt clean, calm, and exactly what you'd want from a Pilates studio. At the end of the intro class, they went over membership options, which was expected. The universal membership is close to $300/month, but unfortunately the studio closest to me in Howell doesn't participate, so it doesn't make sense for me personally. That said, the instruction and studio experience was good, and It's absolutely something on my bucket list but unfortunately I didn't get past this initial class so I can't explain much on what happens in the actual class, ease of booking, considering other reviews., etc. Good luck!

In the past 15 years I've developed extreme constant lower back pain and in the past 5 years put on a lot of weight bc of it. For years my fiancé would have to help me out of bed every morning. Sitting up was not something I could do on my own. After 5 classes at club Pilates I've already noticed that I've gained muscle tone back all over my body AND I can actually get myself out of bed on my own the majority of the time. My core has gotten stronger to the point where the pain in my lower back has actually decreased!!! Club Pilates is affordable with great instructors. And Pilates itself is a life savor in my eyes. I never thought I'd be able to walk, sleep or move like I was 39 years old again. I thought I was doomed to have a body 20 years older than it was. I found Power 1 Fitness and am so glad I did. There is no long term contract. They have plenty of sessions to chose from to suit your needs. I am here to lose weight and to strengthen and tone. I like the one on one sessions and the fact o dont have to feel uncomfortable or self conscience. 30 minutes is just long enough to feel the difference in your body.
