This is the only gym in the area that's 24/7, which is great for me because it leaves no excuse for missing my workout. It's never crowded, even on weekends, and I've never had to wait for a machine. It is a very all inclusive gym with members of all ages, so there's no pressure to lift big or weird stares for not having huge muscles. As for specific equipment, they have regular weight machines, pneumatic resistance machines, free weights, a smith machine, TRX system, and much more. They also offer various classes and personal training. Out of everywhere I've lived throughout New Jersey and New York, this has been the best gym I've ever worked out at.

I finally decided to give it a shot, and called about an hour prior to a class, they said they could accommodate me and needed me there 20 min before class to fill out paper work (and I am sure listen to a sales pitch). I said I would do my best, but there was fresh snow on the ground and the class started so soon. I rush there and arrived about 12 min before class, and they rudely announce they need to reschedule me because I was "late". It takes about 5 min to fill out paper work at a doctor's office, so I have no idea what they needed me to do there. Horrendous service. Bad attitude. Invasive marketing. Places like this should close. Working out should be a nice experience, it should relieve stress - rather than add it. I've had better experiences in NYC Orange Theories, but now will NEVER return to the franchise.

Overall the reformer Pilates class was a good experience. The workout itself was fairly basic, and well-scripted. The instructor clearly guided us through each movement, which made it accessible and easy to follow and asked in the beginning of the class if anyone had injuries or limitations where movements would need to be modified. The studio felt comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with just the right amount of space between people and equipment. It felt clean, calm, and exactly what you'd want from a Pilates studio. At the end of the intro class, they went over membership options, which was expected. The universal membership is close to $300/month, but unfortunately the studio closest to me in Howell doesn't participate, so it doesn't make sense for me personally. That said, the instruction and studio experience was good, and It's absolutely something on my bucket list but unfortunately I didn't get past this initial class so I can't explain much on what happens in the actual class, ease of booking, considering other reviews., etc. Good luck!

In the past 15 years I've developed extreme constant lower back pain and in the past 5 years put on a lot of weight bc of it. For years my fiancé would have to help me out of bed every morning. Sitting up was not something I could do on my own. After 5 classes at club Pilates I've already noticed that I've gained muscle tone back all over my body AND I can actually get myself out of bed on my own the majority of the time. My core has gotten stronger to the point where the pain in my lower back has actually decreased!!! Club Pilates is affordable with great instructors. And Pilates itself is a life savor in my eyes. I never thought I'd be able to walk, sleep or move like I was 39 years old again. I thought I was doomed to have a body 20 years older than it was. Club Pilates has renewed my hope that I can live a normal life again! On top of all that...I actually love going! I've never enjoyed working out but I look forward to every class. My shape is starting to revert back to my college cheerleading days and I'm smiling while it's happening!!! I am new to fitness kickboxing, and I am hooked on it! I took a trial class last weekend, because…read moremy current gym is closing and I want to be able to work out long after this month is over. Believe me when I say that I have searched far and wide to find the right match with a new gym. The class that I took was the same length as the ones at my current gym (30 minutes). I took the class with the owner because I knew that she was recommended. Turns out that in the 30 minute classes, they are very fast-paced. I had a hard time keeping up, even though I got a great workout and loved every minute of it. The owner took the time to speak with me at length after the class was over, gave me information to log into the class app, and gave me the names of the other instructors who teach the 45 minute class. She then proceeded to explain to me that the 45 minute class has a warm up session and a cool down session. I was pleased when she allowed me to sign up for another class free of charge just so I had something to compare to. There was no pressure to sign up. In fact, I asked to see the membership options. When I stopped in and spoke to someone else a few weeks earlier, I wasn't told that there were options to purchase packs of classes. The owner showed me this option and said that many of the members purchase these class packs instead of committing to a 6-month of a year membership. This put me at ease because I have heard mixed reviews from this gym. She had me sold with this option. As I stated earlier, I haven't been doing fitness kickboxing for long, and want to give it a fair chance before I make the decision to either keep doing this or resort to home workouts (which I am not always as disciplined at doing). I left the gym feeling confident that I made the right decision in joining. I am actually looking forward to the next class that I will be taking next week.

I was nervous to sign up but wow I am SO glad I did…read more A lot of my coworkers come here so I took a free trial and have been hooked ever since. After one week of classes I can do a push up! I have never been able to do a real push up in my life until now! The workouts are fun and since you have a choice of trainers you can workout with the one(s) who work best for you! It's not just hitting bags.. There are weights for toning, resistance bands, crunches, burpees, etc! If you can't do them yet - no problem! The trainers give you modifications so you work out on a level appropriate for you! The other people there are SO kind and helpful. Each time I've attended classes other members have offered to help with moves in case I needed any further clarification. I always worked out on and off but never pushed myself like I am pushed at CKO. I look forward to classes, and even though I drip with sweat I feel so great!!!

Chris is great and the other people who go there could not be kinder. The equipment is great. You get equipment that the chain gyms do not have. this is a great place to get a real workout.
