I have a habit of going immediately to the beer section to see what they carry and I went straight to the back. There was a very nice selection of crafted brews, 3 glass cases full, and 4 cases of the big batch stuff.. pretty nice selection for a small country store. But then I turned the corner... there was another 4 glass cases full of more craft brews here too... and a rack of big boys too!! I was stunned!! Then I really started looking... there must have been 150+ different brews here! As I spun around I noticed a wine selection that would rival most grocery stores as well! Not just reds with a couple of whites either... a full selection of whites as well. Ok now I was Impressed. Forget the fried chicken stand or the cowboy hats and belts... forget writing about the funny candy deal I found... this location just got put on my map! I took a bit and selected a very good, harder to find, stout and walked up to check out... the owner was standing there and commented on my great selection... then he said "I know that one is harder to find, but if there are other types we don't have, that you would like, let me know and I'll get them too!" I'm serious as a heart attack... no freaking joke! Great guy, great selection, I'm going to be a regular here for sure!

This place gets 4/5 stars because of the nice staff. I was about to give the air machine my $0.75 when the machine just turned on. My brother walked in and bought something stupid (something that was about $1) and told the cashier inside that we were getting air, and they just turned it on for us. That was pretty cool. I got air in my near-deflated tires, and got home safely. I think most air stations have these now, but this one is also equip with a built-in air pressure checker, so we got lucky when I realized that I didn't have one. I will definitely come back here when leaving Austin.

Out of the blue the cashier (a black lady with blonde died hair who served me hundreds of times) asked me for my ID: She NEVER did that before. It just happened that my DL expired a few days ago, in January 2021 so she refused to give me cigarettes and the bottle of wine. I'm 62 years old and only someone blind wouldn't notice that. What she did was a clear display of racism (I'm white while she is black), unless she's mentally unstable.

They are at the base of the Revl apartments which is next to KFC, Goodwill and Half Price Books. Like most convenient stores they have a decent drink selection, but they also offer produce and a decent wine selection. It's like an extremely small version of a natural grocer. I came here when it was super, duper early so I guess I did not get any aggressive neighbors hounding me for money, and the gas station was pretty easy in and out kind of experience. I don't know what it would have been like if it was during the day when the shop is open, but it is mighty convenient located right at the I35 access road!

What made this place sucky was the fact that "The Bathroom was wet and the celling was felling" (please see the uploaded photo for explanation) I survived the felling celling and high fived the attendant on my way out. This place will provide you with gas and necessary treats and drinks....even condoms and aspirin if you're having one of those days. Their selection of chewy sour treats was kind of disappointing.
