I am very glad I chose Swain's over the big nane stores. Definitely recommend

We're lucky to have a place like this with such wide selections for home landscaping. The owner,…read moreJanine, is very knowledgeable, kind, helpful, honest, and pragmatic. You'll get ideas just roaming to see what's there. If you have no idea how to handle a dilemma or get the result you want, she'll offer suggestions and alternatives. There's a lot on this large lot and inside, but if what you want isn't there, she can probably order it for you. Only one caveat: Don't expect Home Depot or Lowes prices, because this is a local business, not a nationwide chain.

Unfortunately, Dewalt no longer makes belt-sanders, so parts or a replacement unit are no longer available. I really liked this sander and has performed flawlessly for years. I originally paid about $250.00 for it. L&L rescued it from the trash-can by essentially rebuilding it from an old unit they had in the back which acted as a "parts donor". They charged $100.00 for a LOT of work, and essentially turned it into a new, reconditioned unit (including a new housing that was cracked and enemies a new power cable). While $100 is a fairly large sum of money, it was well with worth the investment considering the tremendous amount of work they did. When I picked up the unit, the old parts where returned in a box, and all services were explained to me. They were very professional, and I am very pleased for their services!
