I drive a lot and like to suppo local businesses, but I stopped here to use the restroom and wanted to buy a drink (Liquid Death Severed Lime- good stuff!) and was assaulted by the price! $3.99 each or 'buy 2 get 1 free'. In the pantheon of car wash / gas station / convenience store set ups, I know not how one could shine brighter than this. Quality car wash today as well as the simply stellar service received in the car wash and inside the sparkling and huge convenience store from all the friendly people involved. Including an unexpectedly delicious sandwich at the (franchise chain) installment of Earl of Sandwich inside Fast Eddy's store. Good enough that we who avoid chains at nearly all costs - including choosing to go hungry rather than eat them - would not only go in again if in the area but might actually make EOS a destination. Be not afraid of the behemoth looking size for all of this. We didn't gas up the car at the Chevron dispensing here, but the kind of service we received at the other services we tried was the small business quality of "we're glad you're here" that seems so rare these days. Well done by all. BACK STORY: Newish transplants to the area that we are, about 5 years in from Oregon, we were unfamiliar with the history of Fast Eddy's as business owned by locals, Steve and Tracie Eddy, and their path of building and running successful gas station / convenience store locations of which they have sold well over a dozen to Jacksons Food Stores since 2004. But for the last year-ish we've watched this Fast Eddy's go up on a roughly 5 acre parcel on Eagle Road in Meridian. The owners said in press stories that this would out do anything they had built before. Seeing is believing that this does. CAR WASH: Three levels of wash offered. $10 / $12 / $15. Having just come off a road trip that included several days in Bend with "yellow dust pollen" all over our SUV and a plethora of pesky road-bugs plastered on our front, we chose the $15 "bug blaster" wash as recommended by the friendly young guy checking us in. A wise recommendation it was and the other young man doing the grill and car prep before it went "through the ringer" did a great job too. Clean as a whistle coming out when we pulled into one of the UMPTEEN vacuum stations and also borrowed their clean towels to wipe off outside and wipe down inside. (PS - a free air freshener and / or dash wipe comes with the $15 wash - we declined with thanks for the offer - but so you know there it is if you want it.) CONVENIENCE STORE: Being just inside the timeframe for breakfast eats at Earl of Sandwich (they make the turn at 11a) we drove across the lot and hurried in to the huge, sparkling clean store that was well stocked with almost anything you can imagine... ...from bottles of soda to bottles of Opus One and Silver Oak wines - no kidding ...from fresh bananas to hot dogs with fixin's bar ...from grab-n-go fresh salads to Ling & Louie's sushi rolls to take-n-bake at home pizza ...from shelves and freezers of convenience foods to gelato in a case to buy by the scoop ...from four kinds of piping hot coffee in serve yourself stations - French Roast was darned good as the venue goes - to a (beer) growler refill station. I ignored the freshly delivered Krispy Kreme donuts (willpower won out) but there the sweet things were. But sweetest of all things was the friendly greeting and service from the women at the counters. THIS is how it should be done. "Come back and see us again!" one exclaimed as we left. You bet customers are inclined to do that with service like this. EARL OF SANDWICH: Details included in a separate review, but this franchised sandwich business (on a corporate level actually launched by a descendent of the Earl of Sandwich) exceed our expectations by a lot for the quality of the eats - we chose a tasty Breakfast BLT - and the delightful service. Brava to all the friendly young women working there and bravo to the owners who took the time to hire and train. You think fast food service can't be done right? It can. And this is how. ACCESSIBILITY: Once in the store all is ADA compliant, just as one should expect in 2019, 29 years after the law was passed. Unfortunately, accessible parking misses the mark of ADA law in that the accessible (aka ADA) parking spots have been put at the far ends of the convenience store and not near the front door where they should be. The require ADA spots be proximate to the entrance so that a disabled customer does not have a longer route to the door than an able bodied customer. The far end placement of the parking makes the trek to the front entrance longer for sure for disabled customers. It would have been easy and it is still possible for the owner to locate these spaces at the front near the entrance. read more

UPDATE in response to Steve. You're right, I left out the part where Steve told me they could "fight it out" with insurance, implying that he wasn't going to take ownership of their mistake. I DID call my insurance, as I stated in my review many times. I'm out the $100 deductible until they finish handling it with his insurance. It's been almost 2 weeks after waiting for a response from Fast Eddy's. My car is still damaged and the lack of communication still stands. Thankfully my awesome insurance will definitely be handling it with them. The point of this review is to hopefully warn others of the potential for damage to your vehicle if it has any rock chips and fact that the owner won't be making the necessary repair process easy on you. read more

These guys are by FAR the most professional and classy in town! The entire Fast Eddy's group of businesses on Eagle Road are in a league of their own. The excel in every area. Finally used the oil change services today after being a regular customer of the Chevron station, car wash and the like-no-other convenience store packed with more quality offerings and SKU's than I've ever seen at a gas station. BTW, the Earl of Sandwich food is SO good! (I asked if they had balsamic to put on my order.... "Would you like balsamic vinegar or the balsamic glaze?" Tell me where that ever occurs at a Chevron convenience store. The oil change services were terrific. Jonny was amazing, very professional, with a terrific attitude and smile. He held the door open to enter a plush waiting area with complementary sodas, water, multiple big screens and leather chairs. The bathroom is spotless with beautiful fixtures and a black toilet. They also washed and vacuumed my car following the oil change. This level of care and attention to detail is so hard to find anymore. Plus free coffee, soda, water, video games, sports on the tv all in their clean spacious waiting room. I signed up for an unlimited membership in early January when it was still Fast Eddy's. Every since Metro bought it they do not rinse your car before the wash and some of the equipment in the car wash is not functioning properly (brushes not rotating, clogged nozzles etc.) Since the car wash is attached to the rest of the business the overall rating of the business will suffer. The oil change and gas station are excellent. Suggestion to the owner. Remove the car wash tag from Yelp so your business doesn't lose customers due to Metro ownership. read more

While I haven't received my 15 year resident of Meridian badge, I feel like it's been about 10 years or more that I've been anxiously waiting for Fast Eddy's at the Centrepoint development at Ustick and Eagle Road. I remember seeing the sign, "Coming Soon" and I was finally thrilled to have a gas station in near proximity of our subdivision. No more trips to Stinker or Fred Meyers or even Walmart. Ha! Then the development and construction came to crashing halt and my dreams were gassed. In the meantime I drove down Ustick to the Fast Eddy's just pass Settler's Park. I may even have written a review of that location but alas they changed their location and sold out to Jacksons or Mavericks. My enthusiasm was renewed when I saw construction start again on the massive lot for Fast Eddy's. First was the Car Wash and Oil Lube then the gas station. This review is for the Car Wash and Gas Station. PRO 1 The car wash is really good for $7.00 you get a complimentary dashboard wipe and the team inside the car wash queue slather your vehicle with suds and care. Once out, find a spot and take advantage of the vacuums. Why? They really suck. I mean that in a good way. They do really suck. If you're inclined to use the mat washer, I am, it's great and works well with my Honda mats. Lastly, they provide towels to get to those hard to reach spaces. I've been through about 20 times since they opened and each time has been perfect. TIP 1- If possible, get your gas first and let the pump know that you'll add on a Car Wash, and the pump will reduce your gasoline price. SCORE!! PRO 2 Inside Fast Eddy, the clerks and just about everyone in a neat and tidy blue shirt is super helpful and they play the best jams. The restrooms are phenomenal. The selection is gigantic. They even sell flower arrangements and have a full sandwich place inside. ~ Earl of Sandwich. TIP 2 There are a number of specials found throughout the Fast Eddys Sometimes it's gum and other times its Perrier, So get your Oui Oui on. PRO 3 The gas station pumps are super cool. Why? They have an option to pay via Apple Pay or Samsung Pay where it is contact-less. With the recent rash of ATM Skimmers, this is an awesome feature. If you're not sure how to use, you can still insert of swipe your card just make sure to protect your PIN.The gas station lanes are wide. I love that there's plenty of space for all sorts of vehicles. CON 1 There are some overpriced items but hey it's gas station not a dollar store. CON 2 I wish the hours were expanded. This place is amazing. We stopped in today to get a quick oil change but this quickly became an experience for my kids and I. The staff is super friends and organized. He explained the process of the oil change and that they would be vacuuming out my vehicle and also taking it through the car wash. Once inside their lobby area which has free coffee and some sodas and snacks for purchase, my kids quickly found these "soap shooters" that you can shoot vehicles with soap suds as they pass through the car wash. My favorite spot to get my car washed! I am awful and I only get my car washed once per quarter... if not longer. Fast Eddy's is always my "go-to" spot. I feel that the car wash in general is of good quality. What I really appreciate is the self severe area after to dry your vehicle and vacuum anything out as well. I have yet to try this, but a different customer shared with me that there is a spot to clean your floor mats as well. I will absolutely be trying this feature next time l, my floor mats are a hot mess! I know some other reviewers talked about chipping paint and what not. I have not had that experience, however, my car is always filthy every time I have been... so I need the high pressure washed. read more

Fantastic Experience! I have ONLY gone to dealerships for oil changes and service for the past 25 years. In fact, I buy new cars every 2-3 years in order to avoid most service beyond oil changes. I'm new to this area, though, and the two Ram dealerships in the area have absolutely horrific yelp ratings. So, I set out to try something different. I didn't want pressure, hassle, incompetence, nor shady business practices. Tough list, right? I happened upon the Metro Express Car Wash that's in front of this oil change place. They used to be the same company, but the car wash was apparently sold off. The car wash is fantastic too, though, and it was the over-the-top customer service at the car wash that led me to look at this oil change place. Upon pull up, I was greeted with a genuine smile by someone who actually knew what they were talking about (Wish I could remember his name. That's my fault). Unlike my typical dealership experience, this entire ordeal was over in about 20 minutes. Yes, minutes, not hours. I didn't have to arrange a ride home. I didn't have to lose my ride for a day. In fact, my kids were with me, and they loved the lobby (that's a first). They have a video game, TVs, drinks and... I still can't believe this... two "guns" that shoot colored soap at the cars going through the car wash. No joke. Very cool. The experience was very professional. Reasonably priced. SUPER fast. Great carwash place! Decent pricing for what you get. Their washes all include undercarriage wash and the vacuum area has pressurized air hoses, which is the best for true drying that doesn't leave those messy drip spots afterward. The guys at this location are super friendly and helpful, especially compared to some of the MetroClean locations. Great Car Wash! They offer clean towels to dry your car off after going through the wash, in case you forget to bring your own. Additionally, at the start of the wash, an actual person hand wipes your windshield for those extra tough bug smears on your glass. This place is amazing. I have never been to a car wash like this. We are new to Idaho and this was the highlight of my weekend. The young men who greet you were so friendly! Next time I will have to bring someone with me, not only to experience the awesomeness but I am very claustrophobic and freaked out a little while inside the tunnel. I would give the place a zero if that were possible. I bought a basic wash for my truck and I thought it was odd that the attendant told me that if it doesn't get clean he can't send it through as second time if I didn't buy a higher level wash. I asked him why wouldn't it get clean the first time? He hemhawed a bit and said "you know if it doesn't I can't send it back through, company policy. I should have turned around right then. When I got to the vacuum area I walked around the truck to see how it did. Some of it was beautiful and shiny some was not. The brushes had missed whole sections. The edges of the top above the doors were untouched by the brushes as was the center third of the grill. I don't mean poorly washed I mean untouched. Other areas were half washed. Overall a terrible job, F-. To top it off there were no towels. I had to use my own towels to dry it off. As you may have guessed by now, I don't recommend this car wash read more

I've tried mister car wash, epic shine, and rocket and fast eddys is the best! I mean they all wash your car of course but I had noticed even after one wash sometimes my car would have a speck of something dirty left on it and honestly who wants to turn their car around and tell them that it's still dirty... not I. I love how it really cleans the car with their brushes and dries! Another cool thing that I love is they have a mat cleaner! You just stick your dirty mats in their little machine and they come out the back super clean. They also have a vending machine with air fresheners and other wipes if you need for purchase.
