This after I called in this morning and asked for a "walk-in" follow up shot. The response? "We don't take walk-in appointments." So I went online, completed ALL the required information, and showed up EARLY for my 2:30 appointment. First they told me "It's too soon to get your second shot." No, it isn't, it's been 21 days, look on the back of my card. "Oh, well, um . . . your insurance wont' cover it." I thought COVID shots were free? "They are, but, you are NOT getting a COVID shot today because your insurance won't cover it. Try coming back tomorrow!" She said with a cheery, fake, stupid smile. As we leave in disgust, to try to find a location that actually WILL administer the shot you MAKE AN APPOINTMENT to receive, we drive passed the Walgreens digital sign on the corner of 12 and Greenhurst in Nampa: "Walk-In for Free Covid Shots!" It was the craziest thing ever actually please be scared for what the lady with the glasses that's in there. She's younger and little sketchy and the guy. However, the male I didn't get his name. He was very helpful and made sure I got my car wash and everything and if it wasn't for him, I would've been left very disappointed very upset so I am very glad that I was able to. It's a crappy corporation and they must treat their employees like shit because they treat their customers like shit. New employees come in and those same employees quit pretty damn fast. Just as soon as you get a rapport with one of their staffers there, they quit! That says it all to me. Their drive-thru is consistently broken, their employees consistently call out sick and they are constantly out of my medication. I hope this Walgreens looses every customer they have one day.
