As longtime RV'ers for the past 16 years, this is the first really negative experience we have ever had, and the first that has necessitated any complaint. RV'ers look out for each other, and as such, I have to warn others about Lil' Abner's RV Park. The park conditions are not as described on their website, and the park itself is more like an RV dealer's parking lot, rather than an RV park. These owners are money hungry, and are simply maximizing the use of every square inch in their small RV park for their own profit, but at the expense of their customers and their customers' comfort. Stay away from Lil' Abner's. You'll only find unfriendly owners, uncomfortable spaces, and unreasonable charges. Cutest little café!…read more We stopped at Kokopelli's Café on a road trip through Truth or Consequences, and I'm SO glad we did. The space is adorable--clean, cozy, and filled with Southwest charm. You can tell right away that a lot of love went into creating it. The food was incredible--I had the American and a giant cinnamon roll that tasted like they came straight out of a home kitchen (in the best way). The latte was one of the best I've had on the road--smooth, flavorful, and made just right. They also had Lotus energy drinks and other unique options for non-coffee drinkers. Service was top-notch. The woman working the counter was so kind and welcoming. You could tell she genuinely cared about every guest's experience, and it really made the visit feel personal. Whether you're camping nearby, headed to Elephant Butte Lake, or just passing through, this place is 100% worth the stop. I'll be back next time I'm in New Mexico!
