Got a cold one went out to the truck and went to sleep. It's limited truck parking you can park a big rig between the Hardee's and the station you can sit about six or seven trucks in overnight. But a nice local little stop across the street you can walk over there's a McDonald's or Taco John's a few other things and walking distance if you want. And Hardee's of course is right next door. They do a real good job keeping this little station up here.

Their store is large, with plenty of options for food and drinks. Their bathrooms are nice and clean, and the workers always say hi when I walk in. They have plenty of pumps, so I've never had to wait to get gas.

What started off as a conversation about $300 for replacing turned into a final project close to $480. When we talked to Elizabeth Garage's front desk, each time they were unaware of what they were actually doing to the truck, concerning when dropping it off! When picking up the truck we were blown away by the price! With the owner gone on lunch break we had no choice but to pay. Then they didn't know where they parked the truck, which we eventually found across the street in a parking lot, unlocked with keys in the vehicle! Perfect situation for a theft!!!!!! Especially with personal belongings in the truck! After calling multiple other car repair shops INCLUDING Toyota, we were told that the part that was put in the truck wasn't even a Toyota part! On top of it, all car repair places were coming in over $100 cheaper! EVEN TOYOTA CAME IN CHEAPER WITH THE CORRECT TOYOTA PART! Walking back in there to talk to the owner, letting him know the price was outrageous and more than originally discussed, was basically told okay is what it is. No offer of reimbursement for the over charge! Telling them they lost multiple customers, they didn't care and said okay. They don't care about customer service or overcharging their customers. I even looked up the part on Amazon with the model number they wrote on the receipt and it is $125 - they charged me $350 for the part! We were told by the owner he marks up his products 75% after the job was completed. They lost not only a family with four vehicles, but we are going to let their current customers know that originally referred them. Even the store owners in town we talked to said they stopped going there because they are overpriced! This clearly isn't the first time... it's such a shame since we like supporting small business! I hope the owners read this review and realize what they are doing in overcharging their customers. I hope they work on their customer service and I truly hope they stop putting their customers cars across the street in an unattended parking lot, unlocked with keys in the car!

A man came out to assist with the purchase, but I was already done and he laughed that he "wasn't needed"! It had a bunch of wash and rinse cycles and a nice timer to the dry so you could make sure it got all of your car before driving off. Didn't miss a spot!

Instead of answering yes or yes ma'am when I asked questions, he answered yeah, yeah, yeah. When making the spot for my oil change, he just asked about my car. He didn't ask my name, number, nothing! What if THEY would have had to reschedule me? They wouldn't be able to & I would have wasted my time going up there. He sounded like he was in a big hurry to get off the phone. When I called back to speak with a supervisor, I was told by "Jeff" that he was one of the owners. I told him that was even sadder that the owner would have customer service like that! How did he respond to everything I was saying? Not with yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah... This time it was OK, OK, OK.... HORRIBLE customer service!

It could use a little update but it's in a small cute town called Stockton IL so it fits right in. Nice staff and friendly. They also have a board for community members to post their flyers and businesses and interests like someone asking if they own an old home to find history in your grounds :-). Fascinating.

I paid $25 for a full service wash which was supposed to include exterior, interior, vacuum, windows and freshener. Needless to say all they did was a crappy vacuum of the carpets in the front and back, nothing else except run it through their wash and dry. When I brought it to their attention they told me that because it was an SUV it would cost more. I didn't even get the air freshener. There is still bug splat on the windows, dirty cup holder, sand in the gears. It all comes with travel, but hey that's why I was paying them?

All three parties dealt with this. All are trustworthy and told me it needed a minor repair like a muffler. Big A Auto told me the entire under area of car had been messed up from someone who didn't know what they were doing. He said it'd be $2,000 to fix it. At the time I thought maybe the college driver had let someone work on it so I paid it. My mistake as I didn't take time to think it thru. I know the folks I bought it from were honest and long time friends. Big A lied. They showed me of a fuzzy gray video t was supposed to be the problem area but of course it meant nothing to me and was just part of the deception. I will never go back to Big A again. Since I am an older woman needing the service I think they felt they could lie to me about the car.
