Kyle met us when we arrived and was very nice and friendly. The parking area they had for us was a really pretty feild next to the store which was mostly flat and large, making for easy in & out for us pulling a 29' tt. There was a large deck behind the store with chairs and we had some nice downtime after driving all day, just sitting and listening to the sounds of the country. We had a very restful night. The next morning we had breakfast at Carters General Store & Deli which was really good, they had some of the smoothest great-tasting coffee! Best of all, owner Kyle sat and chatted with us and then other locals came and sat at the family-style table and joined us. It was such a comfortable, pleasant experience! I hope all the Harvest Hosts that we visit are like this one!

I love this place because they are nice to me. They remember my from year to year, and they just make me feel welcome and happy. Okay, Ashley's Market does that too, but they are way further up the road! Oh, and my husband loves this place because the gas is corn free, and the price is always right. Plus, he gets a kick out of filling from the old style pumps from before the pumps became gas dispensing ATM machines that play non-stop commercials. Parking is limited, but if you live in Wintergreen, Graves Market should be your go-to stop before you start up the mountain and check-in before you go because there is not a cell service at that location.

What a solid lil country cooking restaurant in Franklin County…read more.. Stopped by Sago's while in town, visiting my wife's family... Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The food came out really fast (for a party of 8) and it was good old country cooking. The restaurant is kind of a higher end Clarence's (in Ridgeway)... Sago's is a nicer restaurant with better food, but Clarence's gives larger portions and is better priced. Nonetheless, Sago's was good and we'll stop back again when in town.
