Quick and fast I went in there for brake pads and oil change I was out in less than an hour

Chubello is a very honest guy and will have you in and out of there most of the time the same day.

I have been going there for 20+ years. A few months ago I went for a transmission fluid change which was $200 and is easier to do than an oil change. A few days after a warning notification came on "transmission overheating". I went back a the owner told me that is normal. That after 50k miles Hondas do that. Then I went to Honda and they confirmed that a recommended fluid was not used when changed. They tested the fluid on the spot. So I was charged $200 for a cheap fluid change that took 3 minutes. Check other reviews. I'm not the first. It's a shame though. I like to support small businesses but this is unacceptable. So better! read more

Chebelo has been repairing my Jeep Grand Cherokee for 8+ work years. He is honest, kind, and communicates very well.

Most honest place I've ever come across and my go-to place for over two decades. Highly recommended . Integrity

BEWARE they over charge using very cheap oil and parts on your vehicle. When you suggest you will bring your own parts they double / triple the labor fees with absolutely no justification. When customers question "Pierce" here he will abrubtly hang up the phone. Intolerably rude and unacceptably unprofessional. "Pierce" is an awful reflection of the business having the business lose tons of customers/money by inappropriate conduct. Please do NOT waste your money or energy here. Avoid at all costs. read more

Superior Service. Went in today 12/17 with a problem with the engine, gentleman asked to leave the vehicle and he will diagnose it. Within the hour informed with an update that the timing belt tensioner was worn out and luckily I made it to a shop or else there would've been other major problems... gave me a quote/fixed the problem/ and told me the vehicle will be ready by days end wow Thank you very much to the 2 gentleman for your outstanding service! Hidden gem and will be back if I have to diagnose any of my vehicles! 2016 Honda Accord V6 read more

Excellent service!!! Great prices. Quick. I couldn't be happier. Five star rating all-around.

Came in late am on a Monday and they had me right in. Fast, regular cost, in and out.

This is a family owned business! I've been coming here since I moved back to California from New Jersey in 2014! I never feel like they try to take advantage and they work fast! This is my go to mechanic. read more

I had needed a water pump, thermostat & coolant job done. I was referred to Chabelo & his team. After a terrible experience with the Redondo Beach Pep Boys. They quoted me $1140 plus $100 diagnostic & had my car from 8:30a to 5p. Bad business from Pepboys..Fast Lube did the same job in less time, no hidden fees & provided a fair, honest job & rate.. They have earned my respect & a new client.. I highly recommend them.. Thank you very much.. Excellent work. read more

This place is fantastic. My car was making noises and I figured that I needed to get my timing belt changed. I called up a couple local places, and one of the places told me they actually didn't that specific job but to check out Fast Lube because that's where they've taken their cars to get the job done and said their prices were reasonable. Good enough recommendation for me. The quoted price was on the lower end of the range of quotes I got (the lowest seemed so low that it was suspicious). The Yelp reviews and especially the other mechanic's recommendation sealed the deal. I also had some steering issues. When they took a look, they said I might need to have the power steering pump replaced but that it wasn't an urgent job like my timing belt. Left the car with them overnight. Came back to find that they also fixed my power steering issue for free! They didn't replace the pump but at least I can better steer my car for the time being. AND they finished the job 2 hours before I had to get to work. Guess I know where I am going when I need the power steering pump replaced. read more

Came for a quick oil change, Chabello had me out in less than 10-minutes. Even honored the same price I get at Jiffy Lube but without all the hassle and I didn't even need a coupon. Definitely will be coming back! read more

I came here for an oil change during my lunch break. The oil change only took 30 minutes, I was so surprised! The waiting room was clean. I also was able to get a quick tip from one of the technicians on how to check when I would need a oil change. It was really nice of them, and I'll definitely be taking my car here for the next oil change! :) read more

Fast, easy and at a great price. This place is been here for years and I have been coming here for all my oil changes and other issues I have had in the past with all of my cars. The owner is very upfront and will not try to get you with additional charges to make a profit. This is a place you can trust your vehicle with. Thanks so much Chabelo. read more

Went to this place for Daughter to help out. Had fluid leaking down on my vehicle below oil. Owner took me underneath car to look at oil leaking and told me it was going to be pricey, leaking from power steering pump and Engine. Told me he would need it for 3 days and was looking at $2000 or more for repairs.. Glad went and got second opinion, went to my old car repair place in Hawthorne and they painted, different picture . Power Steering leaking but not the problem, head gasket on top leaking. Felt stupid because my old guy told me when you have any kind of leak from the top, it's going to get to the bottom, it's called physics!! The owner at other place said, whole engine would have to be taken apart!! 3 days and at least $2000. My old guy at A1 Smog in Hawthorne did it for under $1000 in half a day .. Head Gasket main problem, power steering leak minimal.. Replaced some heater hoses and gasket on top. Very upset that a Spanish owner trying to take another Spanish retired man for a ride, only in California, do not take your car to them, they will sell you a bridge, if they can get away with it!! read more

My old mechanic closed shop so I had to find a new place. After trying to get my oil changed at Valvoline, I was referred here and boy am I glad they did. I was told to ask for Chabello but Moises ended up helping me out. He was super nice and friendly and explained the repair process to me in such a simple way. The work was done faster than I was initially told, and I was charged a fair price!! I will definitely return and recommend this place!! read more

I have a diesel pick up hence, most quick lubes do not carry the right oils or filters. I came by here at the suggestion of one of my mechanics. I'm glad I did. It's a no nonsense to the point operation. I have to purchase the oil and filter myself, but they'll change and dispose of it for 25 bucks. Came in today at 9am and was out by 9:20. There's no upselling or hassle. Tell them what you need and they'll let you know if it can be done and at a fair price. read more

I have the best things to say about Mr. Chabelo and his crew. Kind and friendly. Very reasonable price for all four brakes re-done. Mr. Chabelo is a person of his word - he said it would be done in a certain amount of time, and it was! I highly recommend this repair shop! read more

I got my oil changed at Fast Lube on 20 December 2020. Man, this place. Whenever there's something I can't do myself, Chabelo, Moses, Frank, and the team at Fast Lube are my mechanic heroes and they have been for over a decade. I am no stranger to working on vehicles, so I know when a garage is trying to rip me off. The guys here at Fast Lube are honest, down to earth, and hard workers. Like a previous poster said - I have no idea how these guys don't go bankrupt with their honest prices. Other shops charge a fortune for the quality of work you get at Fast Lube. I have a 1988 Nissan Pathfinder and a 2002 Acura RSX, both of which still run like new thanks to the services of this location. I will always always ALWAYS go here if there is a job I can't tackle on my own - thanks for everything guys! read more

I brought my flat tire in to get it either patched or purchase a new one. I was told it could be patched up and a few days later the air was coming out again. I had my boyfriend look at it and the guy didn't put the cap back or cut the excess patch or fill my other tires with air like he said he did.... I tipped the guy really good too. Now taking it somewhere to buy a new tire. Wasted my time and money getting it patched here. read more

I had a great experience here yesterday. My PT Cruiser had the check engine light on (I checked the code P 0128 and found that it had to do with the coolant, engine coolant thermostat, temperature gauge). I couldn't get it into my regular mechanic because it was Saturday and they weren't open.My husband talked to Chabelo, the owner of Fast Lube, and he said that he would check it out. I had already added coolant, but that wasn't the problem. The inside of the car felt hotter than usual while driving and I could smell what I thought was coolant burning (not a pleasant or healthy smell). Chabelo took a look and found that the engine coolant thermostat was defective and that the temperature gauge needed to be replaced also. I held my breath while waiting for the price, and it was faaaaarrrrr less than I expected it to be...very workable. It was 1:00 in the afternoon, and they closed at 3:00, but he told me that he could have it ready by then. Sure enough, it was done, the check engine light, the heat inside the car and the smell of burning coolant were all gone. Had I of been able to get into have my regular mechanic do the work, I wouldn't have walked out the door for less than $350-$500. I really like this shop and it's much closer to work than the other shop is. I will definitely be taking my car to Fast Lube from now on for all mechanical needs. Thank you Chabelo :) read more

These guys are within waking distance of my home, which is why I first chose to go to them. Working nights and being single and driving a 16 year old truck, I have needed them twice in the last 4 months- once for a timing belt and last night for a wiring problem that shorted out all my tail lights. Each time I left my truck in their driveway- dropped my keys and a note describing my problem, phone # etc.. in the little overnight key drop. Walked home, went to sleep and called as soon as I woke up. Both times they were able to fix my truck that day so I didn't miss work! These guys do great work for a fair price- I highly recommend them for any mechanical work you need done- TRUE professionals! read more
