Came here on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. Food line was wrapped around the counter so we decided to not get anything to eat. Service was alright, drinks were good and reasonably priced. Even though it was crowded we found places to sit inside pretty easily, but outside is a lot more crowded. It was also super loud outside so we opted to sit inside so we could have a good conversation. The free popcorn is always a plus and they had a fun photo booth for some pics. Great place.

Awesome spot to come hang with friends - tons of space, indoors and outdoors. Finding a bar tender was pretty easy considering how many people were there, they can really handle crowds well. To get food, there was one line that was insanely long. The food was good, we got kebabs and fries along with our drinks. The drinks were basic but moderately priced. We sat both inside and outside, they had a band outside playing and the vibe was lively! A fun spot to come drink and hang out :)

Heading back to STL from Grafton, my friend and I decided to make a detour to Fast Eddies. We had a blast! The food is tasty and cheap. It's a well oiled machine, and even as 2 total newbies, we got it figured out. Typical dive atmosphere, we enjoyed the music, people watching, and the cardinals game on the TVs. It was a fun place to hang out on a Tuesday night! We sat at the bar on the inside and the bartenders were all excellent. We were pondering if we wanted another one, and the bartender heard us from across the bar. We nodded and she brought us 2 more Blue Moons, it was cool as heck.

Organized chaos is all the fun ways possible. There are four parking lots surrounding the restaurant and bar venue so find your place to be. This is a stand in line, place your order, get your number and wait to be called to come back and get your food. In the meantime find your place to be, order and drink and pay. They take both cash and card but I suggest having cash to speed up the process. We ordered three cheese burgers, two baskets of fries and the steak in a stick. The burgers were OKAY the steak.on the stick is a way to go and from the looks of it the shrimp is also a good call. Overall good times. Very busy, very eclectic, and very organized. They know what to do to have fun! Suggestion wear comfortable foot wear there is a very high possibility you will be standing room here because of how popular this spot is.

My friends often come here for birthdays and big occasions especially if they plan to drink, but as someone who comes for food I can tell you it is also a fun experience in both ways! Fun activities, good food for cheap and supposedly great drinks! Definitely a spot to make time for when traveling or just for a random afternoon like me!!

Date night !! Great parking, great weather, no long lines and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Always a plus! Food was hot , seasoned and fresh to order and like the saying goes ice cold beverages. We ordered shrimp , chick on a stick, pork kabobs, Big Elwood , French fries , ice cold beer and frozen drinks . Miami Vice, Pina Colada, and strawberry daiquiri were my choices of the evening. A time was had , the band Hollywood 5 played and the music was diverse. Something for everybody, the dance floor was lively. The servers were eager to assist and all orders came in a speedy time frame . Bartender was great with consistency of all my drinks . I will definitely be back .

Dive bar n restaurant. Cheap food n live music on weekends. Been here for ages. Can get a free shirt if u come on the day of your bday. Plenty of seating. Beef kabobs fire. Chicken ones a bit peppered. Parking on both sides of the building right downtown Alton. Service nice n on point on week days.

An Alton classic with a well-deserved reputation. Great food, great prices, cheap beer. What more can you ask for? The large fresh shrimp are my favorite, with a cocktail sauce heavy on the horseradish--just like I love it. Plenty of space makes it perfect for any group, and they regularly have great live music.

I love that this place is a 21+ place. What I don't like is that it's cash only. They do have an ATM inside. I came here for a group event and felt immense pressure to buy more drinks than I wanted to. The waitress kept coming around asking if I wanted to buy another drink. I didn't really like that especially since at the time I was scaling back on my alcohol and food intake and really just wanted to enjoy the environment. The venue also has live music. I'd been here previous times and can't recall any times where I didn't enjoy the live music. Now to the food! I had The Big Elwood which is my fave. It's well seasoned and grilled to perfection.

You can really see how long this place has served the community. Yes these hang over the urinal in the bathroom lol

I'm a huge fan of their smash burgers, but the other day they had a Grilled Chicken with Pepper Jack Cheese and Bacon as a special. It was served with Crinkle Fries and a Little Cup of Ketchup. Crinkle Fries are a favorite of mine, I like how the ridges hold on to the ketchup. I also like that a dive bar serves the ketchup in an individual cup. It's a better presentation than a bottle. Plus the fact it's more sanitary. Service is always friendly and attentive. I love how all the guest, know each other and add to each other's conversations. Been in the owners family 90+ years, I believe the oldest family owned bar in Alton! Not a large place but not overly crowded either- 4 four tops, 1 six top, 2 high tops that seat 4, a pool table, 6 slot machines and a bar with maybe 10-12 barstools. Not usually crowded (unsure how it's not crowded as the food is AMAZING!). The grill is back behind the bar & closes 1 hour before close for cleaning most nights. Check their Facebook page for daily specials! We love their double cheeseburgers and tater tots - always SO hot and fresh right off the grill with fresh veggies. The bone in hot wings are delicious, too & come with a big ole boat of ranch. Parking - street or out back behind the building. Okay now go have a great dive bar burger!

I met two female friends here for Happy Hour this past Friday. I thought I'd arrive early to secure a table, when I did the bar was already packed and it was just 5PM. I was greeted by a male bartender, who poured a good and refreshing Tito's with Seltzer. Pricing for a call brand was cheap. Not sure if it was a HH deal or not. I'll update that on next visit. The best way to describe, Catdaddy's is that it is an upscale dive bar. Its crowd was a good mix of ages, sexes and diversity. We were still there during the bartender change and the young lady who came on duty was also, attentive and friendly. There's no full kitchen, but they do offer bar pizzas, if you need a nosh to cut the liquor. I had fun, so I know I'll be back.

The bartender was friendly and heavy on his free pour of my Tito's vodka. I use to bartender, so when they free-pour I watch and can tell if they go over or short a shot. My cocktail was refreshing. While I enjoyed my cocktail, it was interesting people watching. Everyone else in the bar knew each other and were buying each other shots. It was a beautiful day and the original garage door to the old firehouse was open. The other day drinkers were going back and forth from the patio and bar area. Moving to my new home right before the holidays and during a pandemic, it took me awhile to finally go and check them out. He is right and so is Sheila T.. For a dive bar, this wings were killer. They had just enough sauce, so your fingers didn't get too messy and just enough spice make your lips burn. If your fingers do get messy, they give you a roll of paper towels to wipe your hands. Also, a double shout out to the kitchen crew. First, I like that my order had the same amount of drums and flats. It burns me when they are uneven. I know it doesn't affect the flavor, it's just my quirky personality. I want the numbers to match. Second shout out, is for the creative way they folded foil to seperate the wings and fries.
