Delicious Fassler Hall pub-fare.
Will S.

This is a terrific place in DTLR for a beer on a pretty day, or to meet up with friends and have a terrific meal of German and Czech style delights comprising mostly sausage and potatoes. And in my book, that's a good time out. I came on a slow Sunday evening and had a liter or Pilsner and a meal of exotic sausages and perfect fries. The service was ok, pretty normal for a slow Sunday evening, but the bartender was helpful with my food selection and he didn't steer me wrong. Look forward to returning when I'm back in town on business.

Great energy! Bartenders and servers/host were also great. Go in the evening and enjoy the cooler vibes in the outdoor seating area! Not as loud as inside and some outdoor games available as well. Grapefruit radler was SO good. Would come back for just that! Also had pork schnitzel plate- I don't usually eat Brussels sprouts but the bartender suggested them (it's like a cold salad thing) and I was so glad I got them! Delish! Also not pictured was the bratwurst sampler- get it! Honestly that and the radler was my fave. Would one thousand percent visit again.

The cocktails are fantastic and the duck fat fries are my favorite appetizer in the whole city. The pretzels are great too. I had the blueberry jam cocktail and of a bar crawl of six bars on this night, it was my favorite by far.

Lamb sausage n fries

Food was delish. Had the lamb and would definitely get it again. Fries were good. Their selection of beverages is hard to compare to anyone else. The staff was nice as can be. Happened to find this place when I was in town for work and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different. Big tables too so plenty of room for groups of any size.

Super fast and friendly service! This place has excellent seating for larger groups. I get something different from Fassler every time and they never disappoint!

Very fun environment. Bonus points for being Pet friendly! The chicken sandwich was delicious. The pretzels were not good at all. You can tell they were frozen pretzels heated up and kinda hard and dry. But the beer and food otherwise was great. Would come here again and just skip the pretzels.

A great restaurant with a good beer selection. Bartenders were fantastic, kept a good conversation and had solid recommendations. It's built beer house style with lots of bigger tables and pretty cool vibes. They make everything in house, sausage, schnitzel, all of it. I'll come back for sure and encourage folks to try them out. Make sure to get those duck fat fries!!

Outside of the building.

The concept of the beer hall was great. Food and beer selection was appealing. Service was lacking with only two bartenders taking orders for beer and food. You could order in the bar or at a window outside. The lines were always long so the service was slow. Instead of waiting in a line to pay with 20 people in front of me, I walk down to Dugan's Irish Pub and returned later to pay!

Unfortunately, I will not return because it's ruined since they are no longer dog friendly.

I ordered the mushroom goat cheese flat bread, it comes with a super yummy salad. The vinaigrette that comes with it is very good, I added a squeeze of lemon to it and it was perfect. I would get that over and over again if I lived in the area. Hubby ordered the Wiener Schnitzel, it comes with fried potatoes. He ate every bite. It was so perfectly cooked and tender! Then we shared the cheesecake!!! So tasty. Carlos said we should order two, he was right! It's fantastic! This restaurant was hopping on a Monday night. It was hard to find a parking space busy!!! It had been a few months since I'd been to The Pantry so I took my time looking over the menu. I ended up going with a House salad with the house lemon dressing. I forgot to ask for no cucumbers. No big deal. I just hate to see them go to waste. I really like the Kalamata olives. I snuck in before 4PM so I was able to get the Lunch Goulash. This was a pretty good portion of fall apart braised beef served over spatzel. It was excellent. I highly recommended. I make it a point to stop by every time I'm in Little Rock.

We ordered the boquerones appetizer and those anchovies on a simple baguette with roasted red bell pepper and finishings was one of the simplest and finest snack I have ever had. They reminded me of the chlebíčky (open-faced sandwiches) we had in Prague, Czech Republic. I had never had an anchovy quite like that before. Definitely an elite fishy! I ordered the roasted pork shoulder with the Czech potato dumplings and red sauerkraut. My husband order the Bratwurst and kraut. All of the items were tasty and comforting. So....we had the chocolate salami for dessert. YOU HAVE TO ORDER IT! I have never had anything like it. I intend to make some someday. I would definitely revisit this fine establishment.

They claimed The Pantry has the best fish and chips anywhere and THEY WERE RIGHT. First, I was struck by the vibrant trendy atmosphere that felt perfect for a Friday night. We received friendly service throughout our stay as well. We each tried a different mocktail and I was impressed! Not many places put much thought or effort into mocktails so hat's off to them in this regard. In addition to our entrees, we absolutely loved the bread and truffle deviled eggs as well. If you're looking for a recommendation, you won't be disappointed with the fish and chips. Perfectly battered and the fish melts in your mouth.
