Great food and really interesting environment. We were mistaken in thinking that they took credit…read morecard. They do not. Def make sure you have cash. We had the medium dinner option which came with lots of small dishes each of them very delicious.

Very cool interior but the tables make me feel like I am eating at a table I ate at when I was in kindergarten and the plates don't help either. Happy Hour starts at 11pm on Friday and Saturday and all cocktails are 5.50€. I think for Köln that is a pricey happy hour cocktail. But I think it's that way because you can't find most of these cocktails anywhere else. I ordered the Jungle Flame and my friend ordered Cape Town Crush. The Jungle Flame was very good and very exotic and fruity something I have never had before. But the Cape Town Crush was so terrible, tasted like only ginger. It was way too overpowering. The service here was alright, a little slow and doesn't work very well together. Since we didn't like the drink the manager said we could order a new one for free but we were never told because our waitress misunderstood him which was upsetting. The food looked pretty good and they had some good deals which means we will have to go back at least once.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Well.. the food was okay. It wasn't original and didn't have…read moremuch flavor. It didn't have traditional Plating or seasonings. On top of that, the menu was incorrect and when they brought my order which isn't what I asked for, the waitress told me it was fine. Didn't acknowledge the mistake, didn't apologize, didn't correct the order, just said oh okay that's fine. But they gave me the improper food that I asked for. Bad service, mediocre food.

We ordered the lamb mixed platter for two people.(I wanted to order the platter for one person and then add something else like the tartar but we were told that is not possible, and I don't understand why because you're basically forced to order the two people platter and then if you need anything you have to order extra and pay for basically three dishes) anywhere else it is possible to order for one person. That's the biggest problem I had the second thing was the waitress was not Ethiopian or Eritrean (they font have to be ) but she also didn't really know anything about the food and we had to keep explaining and it was difficult for her to understand what we were talking about and as a result we had to wait about 20 mins dor half of our food to arrive. Third when ever we said please and thank you she wouldn't say anything (I know its not that much of a big deal) and she had a little attitude. I kinda regret leaving a bigger tip. I wish they could fix these relatively small problems because the place and the food itself was amazing but its easy to spoil your time and experience with the smaller details. P.s don't mind my English it is not my native language.
