Service is friendly and speedy; my shellac mani was tidy and neat and only took about 25 minutes all up. I'm a fan. Grab a stamp card as you get $5 off every third visit.

They have just started a new system so when you come in to get your nails done, the cuticle cutters they use on your nails, gets a number which they then record on your card so that when you come back they use those same clippers! This is only a small shop so it is wise to call ahead to either make an appointment or check they aren't too busy. They welcome walkins as well. They use OPI Polish and also use Gelish (Gel polish) and they have a great range of colours. A manicure and pedicure usually costs me $45 which I think is a great price, especially when I get my own clippers and know that there tools are sterilised. They do acrylic and gel nails as well as offer nail art to really give your nails some pizazz! I find after getting my nails done with a gel finish that they don't start chipping for 1-2 weeks depending on how rough I am with them. They have massage chairs as well so at least if you do have to wait you get to enjoy the chairs! Tina is really lovely and its a pleasure to go see her and get my nails done! They have books with colors actually panted on nails so you can pick what the color is going to look like not what it looks like in the bottle with is usually a huge difference. My brother was treated just the same as I was although he did forgo color. Staff supplied us with water when requested and the massages that came with the treatment were just divine. Price was pretty average for the area with a 10% discount available for pensioners, students and center employees.

But now having experienced this teams level of precision and attention to detail during a recent manicure, I can understand why I will often walk past and see the store full with ladies treating themselves. $35 bought me a shellac manicure which, compared to CBD counterparts, comes in as cheap as chips. And yet, as I mentioned above, the dedicated and detail taken was better than some I've paid more for. My nail technician took what looked like painstaking detail to ensure the polish was just right, rounding the nail bed with a small paint brush to ensure none of the colour went "outside the lines". The atmosphere was calm and a complimentary bottle of water offered. They might take a little longer but it's worth it, in my opinion.

They have recently updated their chairs and they give a brilliant massage right up to your neck. Rather pricey, and the manicurist herself was rude--no conversation, just yes/no answers to my polite questions and attempts to make chit chat, despite the fact that she would speak to other customers. I would probably have forgotten the experience quickly and moved on, but the polish chipped immediately--I saw chips as soon as I walked out of the shop, and didn't have any confidence they would be resolved politely or I would have gone back in. Ended up having to get the polish removed and have a whole new shellac manicure done (for only $40) once I got back to Sydney. There were other women in the shop who seemed to be enjoying their services more than myself, so maybe I was unlucky, or maybe the issue was that I wasn't a local. Still, I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend.
