Fascella has completed several projects on our home over the last 7 years. Recently, we wanted to upgrade a very mundane guest bathroom, and asked them to build a custom linen closet. Holly created the drawing based on our vision, and they executed it as they always do, with precision and professionalism and high standards. Just changing the old mundane closet for this new custom one was transformational for this room! We are completing the painting and wainscoting ourselves, but the closet was the key element and inspiration that is creating a more upscale, spa-like aura. Chris Fascella has done major renovations and repairs at our house, and my husband and I are writing this review because he is by far the most professional and thorough contractor we have ever hired. If you use Fascella Construction, it's very straightforward: You'll have a professional who does quality work, and has his crews out when promised and on time. (Anyone who has hired a contractor probably knows how rare it is to get both of those, especially the latter.) We had to do a major and unavoidable remodel, and because of the size of the job, we did solicit two other bids. One was much less in price, because the other contractor was proposing a cosmetic fix. (Chris said he wouldn't risk his reputation doing the work that way. There was a right way to do the project, and he didn't believe that was it.) The other bid was slightly less than Fascella Construction, but in the end we felt we would get the best value for the money by working with someone we trusted. We never regretted that decision. We were kept informed of each stage of the project; if we had a question Chris always returned calls within a few hours, often immediately (you will never have to chase him down, or deal with the frustration of calls not returned). His crews and his crew supervisor were great, and Chris himself was out to check on the work most days. Because it was exterior work, there was a hiatus during the brutally cold winter of 2013-2014. We were away much of the time, and Chris offered to check on the house for us. He went out of his way to go by during a power outage, and discovered that a pipe had frozen and burst in the basement. He contained the damage and sent us photos, and after we returned to look it over and discuss what needed to be done, he got his people in and took care of it. This is a long review, but even so, it's really doesn't completely cover our great experience with this vendor. (Btw, the result of the major remodel was beautiful. We are selling the house, and a prospective buyer brought in their own expert, who confirmed the work had been done correctly and to a high standard.) read more

My wife and I came upon two porch projects being done within two blocks of each other on a route that we frequently use. Since we liked the look of these projects, we added the name of Fascella Construction to our list of possible contractors. We had a twenty-five year old porch with rotting posts and decking that were long overdue for replacement. Chris Fascella wasted no time getting back to us and came to our home to discuss our project. He gave us a very detailed description of the materials, time frames and an estimate. We even decided to have his crew install a new garage door. We got a detailed contract for the porch from Chris that same day. It was very specific, listing the materials, the cost of each, and the labor. The project started within a couple of weeks. The porch took a week to demolish and replace. The crew always showed up on time, was professional and courteous. Chris stopped by frequently to check the progress and handle any questions we had. Fortunately there were no "surprises" and the following week Carl came by to paint and stain. Again, a job well done. This porch project was done within two weeks. There were no delays (luckily, the weather was perfect) and no overruns. Chris brought us a separate contract for the garage door installation during the week of the porch project. The door was done a couple of weeks later and took only one day. We would definitely call Fascella Construction Corporation for any future projects we might need done. Chris is a great guy, easy to work with and a real pro as is his crew. And to top it all off, our house looks better than ever! My wife and I highly recommend Fascella Construction Corporation. Fascella Construction Corporation recently completed two renovation projects at our home. Upon recommendations from several neighbors, we initially approached Chris with some ideas of what we wanted. Working together, we enhanced both projects, while staying on budget - which was very important to us. Our new, beautiful deck has added valuable living space that we are enjoying each day.
