Farellis shameful pizza

An absolutely terrible location. We have frequently commented on how this location is not as good as the others for whatever reason. But enough time goes by between visits and we give them another chance. Well, no more. Last night waited over an hour and received a terrible, completely burned pizza. Reached out and no response, so that's how much they care at the Fredrickson/Puyallup location.

This Farrelli's location is very chill with a respectable vibe, fast and friendly customer service. I usually sit in the bar area at the fire pit. I haven't tried the pizza or any of the entrees, but there are many intriguing options. If you're carb loading, my personal favorite snack foods are Farrelli's Fire Stix Bread Stix and their bowl of Tomato Gorgonzola Soup. The Tomato Gorgonzola Soup comes with oven-baked bread, but I prefer to pair it with Fire Stix for a potent 2-hit combination (Fatality). Overall I give this appetizer a 4.4 out of five. The soup is a star.

New and large space in Puyallup. We had prompt service on a slow Tuesday morning at opening, very obliging to us as we worked in between local meetings. I had myself a lunch special with a salad and personal pizza. I had the February Pizza of the Month "Pear-adise" and it was pretty tasty! A little greasy for me although the crust was still crispy and the toppings were plenty. Spacious parking, this shopping center opened in 2017; lots of new construction and "grand openings" throughout the area. I'm sure it gets busy in the evenings and for sporting events.

Spaghetti & Meatballs... a classic !

My uncle gave me $50 in gift cards to Farelli's for Christmas and one of my dear friends came to visit me from out of town so I invited her to dinner and a movie. We went to this Farelli's and while it's mainly a pizza joint she went with a calzone and I went with a pasta favorite: Spaghetti and meatballs! While our meals were delicious and our waitress (whose name I believe was Lilly) provided great service, the real treat here this visit was the drink we both got which is called "BIG BLUE" that has hypnotic among other liquors and with its appearance, the name fits it. It's big, it's blue and it's delightful. How delightful ? Let me put it this way.... Ariana Grande is under the impression that God is a woman but I think God is whoever made this drink ! Not convinced yet ? Just go try one for yourself. If you like cocktails that are both sweet as well as strong, you'll be satisfied. So effin' goood !

Thank you, Charles, you're awesome. Bartending and waiting tables, nice. We had fire stix, meateaters and chicken bacon ranch pizza with jalapeño cheese base, YUM!! We also had old fashioned with monkey shoulder, white Russian, black Russian and gin and tonic with empress gin. Thank you, Josh. The update to the establishment is on point. The service was great. The ambiance is busy, but that's good.

Pizza is delicious. Prices are high. But the quality makes all the difference. When you want to impress your guests go here.

Solid wood fired pizza, and a good kids menu. Good for the area, not many better pizza options around.

Hands Down the Best Spot in South Hill! I have been here a few times and always leave satisfied…read more If you're looking for the ultimate spot to celebrate a birthday, The Meridian is it! We came here for my friend's birthday and the vibe was absolutely immaculate!!!! Exactly the kind of energy you want for a special night out. Let's talk about the service: Brian and Jason are absolute legends. They took such good care of us and honestly made the whole experience 10x better. They're attentive, super friendly, and just know how to make you feel like a VIP. The bar has everything you need. Reanee is the sweetest and will customize to your hearts desire ensuring your whistle is wet Now, the food... wow. The chicken is straight-up fire, but the real game-changer is the Lemon Pepper SAUCE. I've only ever had the dry rub before at other spots, but having it as a wet sauce is a total revelation. It's zesty, peppery, and addictive... I'm never going back to dry rub again. Amazing food, killer service, and a great atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. Highly recommend!

I was extremely excited to try this new "speakeasy" that I heard about in Puyallup. In my mind it…read morewas gonna be dimly lit, old school, classy dark-colored furniture, easy listening jazzy music playing softly in the background and a warm ambiance that was inviting, once you stepped in. That's what I picture when I hear speakeasy. A very intimate setting. However, this was completely opposite. It was bright, with a mishmash of decor. I wasn't sure if there was a theme. There were fake plants and a column/pillar with mirrors on it, an Amazon Forrest mural on the wall with televisions up on a couple. Felt like a sports bar. The tables and chairs were your average styled booths, that light-colored wood. It was sooooo cold inside. When we walked in, we were greeted by a nice young lady. She seemed to have a puzzled look on her face as to why we were there. My husband stated we had reservations. So now we were seated. Time to order. Looking over the menu, I see the pricing and was like "ok, a lil higher priced type of menu" I was down to give it a try. We ordered the calamari and zucchini chips for apps and then the butternut squash risotto with scallops (approx $30) for me and the brined chicken ($28) for my husband as well as a side of broccolini ($14). The apps came out first and I was honestly shocked. The calamari were so tiny and the zucchini looked like what they would serve in a bowling alley. Both dishes had the "mama lil's peppers" in it. I'm okay with the portion size but how are you charging $20 for calamari and $14 for the zucchini? Then we received our entrees. Again, we were looking for an elevated dining experience with the pricing of the food, to include presentation and all. I was disappointed to see the cheap cafeteria-like silverware and dish ware it was served on. Now understand the food was good. Not OMG WE ARE COMING BACK kinda good. But mid. Nothing wrong with that but the way they advertise is as if you are about to have a romantic, chill and classy dining experience. It's okay to be mid tier. I won't be mad about it. My dish was not butternut squash risotto, it was a mushroom risotto with 4 mid sized scallops. My husband's chicken was nicely seasoned and flavored and the mashed potatoes it came with, delish. He had caramelized carrots but some were straight black. Maybe a bit much heat. The broccolini was drowning in a cream sauce with onions and mama lil's peppers, slightly overcooked. Needless to say, it wasn't the dinner I was expecting, especially paying almost $200 for it. We did have a couple drinks and those were good. Customer service was on point. The staff were accommodating and helpful. I would kinda expect that since there were only us and another table in the dining room area. I had high hopes but sadly, not the vibe I was looking for. I've been to a fair share of a lil more upscale restaurants and this didn't hit that point for me personally. I think with lower prices and refraining from calling it a speakeasy, it could do well. Just my opinion. Oh they had a lil area for taking selfies available. Thank you for a nice date night with my hubby. We had a chance to have some one on one time together.
