Everyone there loves there job and they really care about you and your oral health. It's also very clean and smells very nice, I can tell they really take care of the office. I love this aspen dental location!!

First, I must say that I feel that I have lived in a dentist's chair my entire life - that's how…read morebad my teeth are. I desperately needed dentures. I did have a partial upper denture but it was poorly made and needed to be replaced. So when I watched the Aspen Dental building in Selden being constructed, I thought to myself that I ought to give them a try as I was not pleased with my current dentist. I was not prepared for what I encountered next - almost a surrealistic experience. I had no idea how much technologically advanced dentistry. My first visit to Aspen entailed a thorough and comprehensive examination like I have never had. The normal x-rays and x-rays where a machine does a full rotation around the head was not new or unexpected. From that point on, everything else was new and mind-boggling. My entire mouth, teeth (whatever teeth were left), roots and gums were digitally mapped with a rod or handle-like probe instrument. I had no idea what they were doing with that instrument, methodically moving around my mouth, mapping out my oral cavity - and it took a lot of time. Ultimately, they showed me the graphic reconstruction of my oral cavity on a monitor. I was blown away. It looked like a hologram - 3D like digital recreation of mouth, teeth and gums. I had no idea this level of technology was available and used for dental care. When I mentioned that to the dentist, he shocked me even more by saying this technology has been around for several years. I thought to myself, how did I not know this? How are conventional dentists still in business? They are light-years behind this technological curve. Next, I thought perhaps this was all just a superficial technology show designed to lasso in prospective patients and then get hammered with an absurdly high tab. So when I sat down with the financial staff member who was going to advise me what treatment options would cost, I thought this would be similar to sitting down with the finance person in a car dealership and here comes the sales pitch. Instead, I got my next shocker. The financial adviser got on the phone with my dental insurance company and patiently, and painstakingly went step by step with the insurer on the phone while I sat in front of her to calculate my cost for the dental plan proposed! And wow, much less expensive that I anticipated and certainly lower than what I was used to with conventional dentistry. At this point, I was hooked - ready to take the plunge from conventional dentistry to the new era. Today, I am well into my treatment plan. I cannot express how pleased I am with everything at Aspen. Dr. A, and his staff are phenomenal. Everyone is friendly, professional and anxious to please. I am thrilled that I dropped my old dentist and highly recommend Aspen in Selden.

I guess there comes a time in one's life when a tooth needs to be removed. My dentist in NYC…read morerecommended some oral surgeon in Manhattan. The office was very nice. He was extremely expensive. So, I decided to look around and found Dr. Park at Leading Edge. Pulling up to Selden... I was extremely hesitant. The office is in a bit of a run down medical strip mall. The parking lot is big and there are a few flowers and bushes by the office but overall it is somewhat ah old...maybe from the 1970s? Once inside Leading Edge, well things were the same. The AC was blasting away. I immediately wished i was wearing a sweater.A few people were waiting in old chairs. Everyone was staring at their phone. There was a large TV screen on one wall showing some game show. The receptionists sat in a small off shoot of the office. They were very attentive, fast, and professional! Though still hesitant, I was somewhat at ease. After a wait of a few minutes I was led by a dental assistant into the "operating area". The room they put me in was sparse but professional. Super clean. Computers and brand new modern dental equipment. Unfortunately there was a large TV in the room showing a kind of MTV kind of show. The history of rock and roll. Oh, how I hate the music from the 1950s! HATE. Anyway --- Dr. Park came into the room. He was young, smart, and professional. He looked at my x-rays and examined my teeth. He agreed that the tooth ( left upper molar that had root canal a long time ago ) needed to be pulled. He explained everything to me. The whole process of extraction and implantation. The dental assistant sent me off to billing. I received an itemized proposal which was 50% of the Manhattan guy. Fifty - percent! An appointment was made for the extraction and to make a long story short --- everything went very smoothly. Two weeks later I returned to have the extraction. They even called me the next day to check up on my condition. And now for the implant! I am almost looking forward to it...Almost.
