A typical liquor store with a small market but with a large and solid collection of wines. I stopped in after lunch near by to pick up a few items, but when I walked in the first thing I noticed was their large collections of wines (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/farr-better-spirits-encinitas?select=nbPh3yOUqiU1150tG_b7aA#dVNVBIdME4EhV9bwj_6yVA). The had it all, great local and wines from the greater California area, wines from the South America, including some Malbecs, wines for Europe, such as Italy, Spain, France, and Germany. The liquor store had a very goof beer inventory, with an array of snacks, and energy drinks. During the colder months, they carry firewood, and they have Lotto. Service was okay, but I felt the guy at counter could of been a little friendly. When I commented on the nice collection of wine they carried, his response was, " I know we carry a lot of wine" with a touch of arrogance to his voice. I simple thank you would of been enough. Anyways, if you need to find a good bottle of wine, this place certainly is worth the stop.

So much alcohol that will make your head spin! Tequilas, vodka, etc on the shelves with other alcohol in the bins, and the floor. For the high priced alcohol they have the empty boxes out however just go to the front register and they will package the bottle for you. They are fully stocked. Love the varieties. They have so much wine too with descriptions and key notes for most. They have a section for cigars at the very end of the register. On the other side of the store are chips, and other snacks. Prices are decent, it's always a treat coming here and seeing what new stuff they carry.

Illegally charging fees for debit purchase. That's after the surly service and expensive product price. Just not worth the trouble.

It was…read morepretty mellow for a holiday night with just a handful of people there with plenty of seating both inside, outside, and at the bar. We ended up grabbing seats at the bar, which was a great choice. We ordered the: *Fig Burger with Brussels Sprouts: the Brussels sprouts were phenomenal. They had what tasted like pecans, some kind of glaze, and cheese... seriously so good. The Fig Burger itself was just as impressive with such a unique combo and absolutely delicious. *Steak Sandwich with Onion Rings: this was also a standout. Perfectly cooked, super flavorful, and came with a great dipping sauce that really tied it all together. The onion rings were crispy and on point too. First off, I love that they offer a variety of sides (sweet potato fries, truffle fries, mac & cheese, Brussels sprouts, etc.), though most come with a small upcharge. We had a few drinks and even grabbed a bottle of wine from the bar to take back to our Airbnb, which was a nice bonus. The vibe was relaxed with TVs playing highlights from a basketball game, and the bartender/server was awesome. Parking was easy with free street parking, though that might've been because it was late and a holiday. Only heads up: definitely call ahead about kitchen and closing times, especially on holidays. Online said they close at midnight, but they were actually closing at 11 PM. We were told over the phone the kitchen closed at 9:45 PM, but when we arrived at 9:30 PM, it had just switched to last call. Thankfully, they were kind enough to still get our order in. Overall, phenomenal food, great service, and a solid spot worth checking out. Would definitely come back.

I guess you could call it a bit of a girl dinner (or snack) - aperol spritz + onion rings. The vibes were great, especially the back patio area. The service was also pretty solid and we didn't feel like anyone was rushing us out, despite just ordering nibbles. Great spot overall!

Wyatt got a KOREAN CRACK sandwich (grilled trip tip, Korean BBQ sauce, smoked cheddar, kimchi, and crispy fried onions) on a brioche burger bun. I ordered a WHISKEY CRACK (grilled trip tip, whiskey-peppercorn sauce, blue cheese, pickled onions, and arugula) on a ciabatta roll. as is our habit, we traded half a sandwich for half a sandwich. both were amazing. a couple of days later, the wife-unit and I were headed to Solana Beach from Carlsbad, and stopped in Cardiff at SEASIDE MARKET. the sandwich we shared was not as good as the one Wyatt and I shared. instead of a dense, chewy ciabatta roll, this time the sandwich was served on a squishy, wonder bread roll. major downgrade. anyway, pretty darn amazing and totally worth an occasional drive down the coast. plus, you gotta love the view.

From sandwiches, to deli meat and of course their butcher shop and marinated meats selection. This is the home of the famous "Cardiff Crack," aka burgundy pepper tri-tip. You may have had it before at a friend or family BBQ, on some local area restaurants in sandwich, or in the famous Tri-Tip Nachos at Petco Park while cheering on the Padres. I love checking out all of the items they have available, and always have to grab at least a pound of the crack. This last time I picked up the Spicy Chipotle BBQ tri-tip as well. So good. If you are just visiting, you can grab a sandwich made with the tri-tip.
