When we first signed with this All State location we thought they were great. When we went with…read morethem they attempted to sell us Life Insurance and Home Owners Insurance which we just couldn't afford. After paying the initial fee we were bombarded with constant e-mails offering us additional types of insurance. My wife called and asked that the e-mails be stopped. We simply could not afford any more. Fast forward a month. I was forced to file for early retirement due to my inability to find an employer that would hire me at a decent wage(age discrimination). When you file for benefit's it takes about 2 1/2 month's to receive your first check. During that time period we were not able to make 2 payment's so we called and cancelled. Once we canceled we were e-mailed.a letter cancelling the policy. Than we were told the $119.00 would be placed directly into collections. While I understand that insurance is a business we found the LACK OF EMPATHY displayed by the owner to be regrettable. Consequently I would never recommend All State to a If I could give All State a negative-10 I would. Our account was placed in collections for $119.39 cents . I will not pay you one DIME the way my wife was treated on the my wife on the phone by your location. Your organization' s lack sympathy is OUTRAGEOUS. Maybe some day you will be laid off because your job was outsourced overseas Than at 59 try to get a decent job and no one will hire you except crap call centers at $10 an hour you will understand but I sincerely doubt it. I was forced into early retirement since I made more on retirement than any of these crap jobs in El Paso pays and it takes 2 1/2 months to get your first check than all your other bills are behind. I have NEVER encountered customer service this horrible...anywhere, ever. Their driver hit my car…read morein November '25...it's now January 31 and I finally received the payment (of under 2k on a car they deemed totaled). They don't return calls until you leave dozens (no exaggeration) of voicemails. Their claims adjusters are rude and do their best to speak extremely fast and unintelligibly. I had to report them to the department of insurance to finally get a call back (after which they dropped the ball again). They guessed my car's mileage, never requested it and were 20k high, I had to send them time stamped photos of the odometer which they claimed they didn't receive, I had to send three times. Same with comps they requested after I disputed the value they placed on my car. Before the accident I had a mechanically sound/physically perfect car. It's an old car but it had nothing wrong with it. They gave me less than 2k...in no way enough to find a car in the same condition (or in ANY drivable condition). I wound up having to shell out 8k to get a used car. Absolutely corrupt, inept, disdainful - there was not a single person I spoke with who displayed any interest in helping me, it's as if they're trying to be rude to make you give up. Sadly, none of us have a choice if we're in an accident and the at-fault driver has this insurer. TLDR - they're horrible, keep a close record of how many calls you had to make and document everything. Be prepared for a very bumpy ride (or no ride at all when they're done with you). They shouldn't be allowed to do business.
