    Authorization Agreement for Recurring Payments.

    At the start of 2024, my two SUV's insurance premiums with Acacia Insurance Managers LLC were $74.84. In February, it rose to $75.84, and in March, it increased again to $76.84. April's premium remained at $76.84. Believing this to be excessive for insuring two Suburbans, I began to look for a more economical option. In May 2024, I discovered that Fred Loya Insurance offered the most affordable rates. I signed up with an initial monthly payment of $59.82. The only drawback was their requirement for automatic deductions of the monthly premiums from my checking account, which implied granting them access to withdraw funds as needed. Indeed, they provided me with an authorization agreement for recurring payments on variable dates, yet they failed to specify any monthly amounts. This oversight should have been a red flag; regrettably, I placed my trust in their commitment to honor the monthly agreements. My initial automatic payment was higher than the quoted amount; it was $63.82. I was immediately upset because they withdrew more money than what I had agreed to. I felt very disappointed with Fred Loya for not honoring the quote they had provided when signing me up. After pondering for a few hours, I considered disputing the price difference and starting anew with a different insurance company. However, I decided against it and remained with Fred Loya, assuming the difference was only $4.00. The subsequent monthly premium remained unchanged, but this month (August 2024), I was surprised with a charge of $75.82--an increase of $12.00 from my initial premium. Since they have access to my checking account, I feel powerless at the moment; definitely, they've taken advantage of my available funds. Since this month's premium has already been withdrawn, I will begin searching for a new truck insurance company, preferably one that does not mandate automatic withdrawals from my bank account to prevent such issues. - Lesson learned...! After sharing my unfavorable experience with Fred Loya Insurance, I began to value Acacia Insurance more. Their rate hikes were more reasonable, and crucially, they didn't automatically deduct their premiums; instead, they billed me monthly. This gave me the opportunity to consider whether the premium was acceptable or not. I shared my negative experience to prompt others to carefully evaluate if Fred Loya Insurance is truly the best value option, given their access to customers' financial institutions.

    I emailed Loya again this morning Here's what I stated: Hello Loya,  As of today, March 27th, your company still has not provided me with a Market Valuation Report for determining the Total Loss of my 2021 Hyundai Sonata VIN #5NPEG4JA9MH103488. I have requested this required document over and over again in order that I may file a GAP Claim.   I am also reporting this failure to disclose this document to the  Illinois Department of Insurance  Consumer Services Section  320 West Washington Street  Springfield, IL 62767 Phone # 217-782-7446 as well as the fact that you stated that I may retain my total loss vehicle which is in violation of Illinois Vehicle Code which does not permit me the right to retain my salvage automobile once it has been deemed a total loss. You, my insurance company must take possession of this vehicle because it's not 8 model years old and you must pay my lein holder, Hyundai Finance the full Actual Cash Value, including taxes & fees minus my deductible, which you have failed to due so.     I'm disgusted in this company and after reading reviews I see alot of people have the same issue. My car was hit by 1 of their drivers 2 weeks ago. She was just gonna leave but I stopped her and she gave me her insurance info. They also asked that I bring my car in to have pics taken but made no mention of it being truly looked at. Fast forward 2 weeks still waiting ive had to call the adjuster Vianney Martinez is worthless she doesn't call to update me NOTHING called her lead who was worthless as well i said I have VIDEO of this accident she said o send it to me never heard back on and I see they really dnt go above and beyond because supposedly this lady refuses to contact them back regarding this incident. Im contacting a lawyer as well as filing a police report. This is complete bull shit and so unprofessional and terrible customer service.
