I have been surprised by how much they have changed over the recent years. Over the past two weeks, it became very clear if they have an opportunity to deny a claim, they will do so, even if it valid. For my particular case I could see and agree with part of their reasoning but there are parts of the cost and damage that should be covered. However, there was absolutely no consideration for any aspect. Just absolutely denied. Maybe I am wrong, but based on the rudeness in their office, and the mostly scripted conversation I had on the phone, I will be moving on and away from the good hands that I thought I had over these years. I am little saddened after so much time, but I am glad I finally woke up.

Between Diane blowing my phone up (I would call to check my coverages because I was shopping around, she wouldn't answer and would call back 2-3 times in a short window of me not being able to respond) to finally cancelling my policy (mind you I had direct deposit set up) and been billed for the remaining $53 on my account and given less than 3 weeks to pay it back before they sent me to collections. (I was gone for 2 of those weeks with no access to mail). Complete joke of a business considering I paid them on time every month without issue. Happy to walk away with no damage done to my credit. Try Erie or State Farm and save yourself a headache

And I pay them every month faithfully . They are a rip off . And the lady who is on the phone helping me Im covered in both claims my payments come out faithfully . Four months later I received a collection letter from CCS for $36 for Allstate. When I inquired, Kathy told me it was what I owed for the last month (December) even though I send the cancellation email in November. I have the emails and forwarded them to her but she disputed anyway!! I was never contacted regarding an outstanding balance... as a matter of fact, I was told to IGNORE ALL FUTURE BILLING STATEMENTS because we were letting it lapse for non-payment. Allstate may be a good company, but I would not deal with Kathy Mahar.

He passed in January of this year and instead of being friendly and understanding, they harassed me about his home insurance and even tacked on an extra $20 per month fee for "moving" on my auto insurance. (Mind you, our coverages are separate and his house is going into foreclosure which makes me in no way, liable). I called progressive and they saved me $50 a month along with confirming that a "moving" fee for auto insurance isn't industry standard. I would think after being with them so long, they would at the bare minimum offer condolences. Very disappointed and would not recommend.
