The individual rooms in which to wander are made magical as the shelves are marked using old Scrabble tiles. This is because the owners are super-dooper creative. As well as knowledgeable and hospitable. And funny. They share their sweet dog Coda with each guest and to this date she hasn't tinkled on a single customers shoe! However I think the owners should teach her to do that for the few shoplifters that have sullied the place. The kids room is amazing and each child that finds the secret room is transported to a magical place all their own. As a member of the senior crowd I'm VERY grateful for the neatest, most creative bathroom in the entire town! My first visit there it was the FIRST room I needed to find. As I sat there meditating to the sound of the clapping of one hand I just KNEW I was in for a treat with the rest of the store and I sure was! Besides the great selection of books (which I think are priced almost too low) you can find a few collectible/antique offerings as well as other goodies like snacks and greeting cards. I stopped-into Minocqua Furniture to browse their showroom and found a few bedframes that were close to what I was looking for. Rebecca offered to help me and I pointed-out a couple of examples on their floor explaining that they were close but not exactly what I wanted whereupon Rebecca told me that they could custom make a bedframe for me so that it matched exactly what I wanted. I was delighted and spent some time going over specs and measurements. A reasonable time later, the delivery folks showed-up on my doorstep with my beautiful new bedframe, assembled it and removed the old bedframe. From start-to-finish, these folks were so great - helpful, responsive, resourceful & creative. And, on top of all that, I paid a very reasonable price for a beautiful, custom fabricated bedframe! I would absolutely do business with these terrific folks again.
