Payment was simple cash or bank transfer. Even offering to come to my work if it was easier to collect payment. The work was a high standard with great tyres. Wheels are well balanced. I contacted sean at 7pm not expecting a reply, to recieve a reply very quickly and even better offering next morning fitting. Kwik fit wont do that for you unless you go in and then pay more. I will use again and would advise anyone needing tyres to try Sean at pit stop. Thanks for the tyres fast service and no pressure sales.

I had been advised by my boyfriend that places often try to do this when it is not neccessary so I questioned him and asked him to show me why. After a bit of back and forthing, it turned out I didn't need one and he just fixed my puncture- oh surprise! A quick phone call books my car in usually within 2 days, I get a call if any major work needs done and then another call when it's ready to pick up. They euxplained what needs fixed, how much it would cost and how long it would take clearly and so that I understood everything. The only minor thing that was a bit annoying the first time, is that if it's something minor like a tire needing replacing then they'll just do it and not call you but once you know it's fine.

Charges for oil, filters etc is separate and you will end up paying huge sum of money. Tricky way of getting customers in and then charge way higher then other garages.

I swore too, I admit, but the treatment was so dreadful I had lost the rag by then. I was forced to drive away in a vehicle not fit for the road, by incompetent mechanics that had made the problem worse, without even the decency to help me change to the spare. Bear in mind that I could not have put the spare on myself on the premises as I was told that I was not insured to do anyhting myself in their garage. It was simply astonishing, and I have never had an experience this bad with any other business ever.

Normally they offer discounts and right I was. Tyres can be expensive, so why not choose wisely. They have a small office. I entered and found two people operating behind the front desk. Both were very welcoming and offered their help and a cup of tea/coffee from the vendor machine in the corner. I received several quotes: with and without insurance, for popular and branded models as well as for standard tyre makes. Luckily there was not much going on in the yard and they were all very willing to change my tyres right there, right then. I got a quote and decided to go for two new tyres after having been briefed on their current state, which was not so good. They explained why my tyres are old and the possible reason for not having a good grip on the road surface. I am giving this place a five star, because the service was fast, efficient, friendly, quick and affordable.

My car is only 4 years old and doesn't have that many miles, so everything should still be fine. Kwikfit however failed the MOT telling the front breaks are releasing unevenly and suggested the brake disks would need to be replaced. They refused to give me estimated costs for this, but I found out online they would be charging about 400 pounds to have that done. I doubted the failure however and went to another garage and had this point looked into. They told me the breaks were fine and release of the front-breaks was spot-on. I had the MOT done in yet another garage who also confirmed the breaks were just fine and the MOT was passed without touching the breaks. I would avoid this Kwikfit at all costs. They do allow you to take a coffee in the waiting area which is nice but doesn't make up for them trying to deceive me.
