I finally scrapped that at 220k miles and bought a V70. He looked after that for the 9 years I had it, until that too had clocked up 220k miles. Colin and his team always came up with a solution at a sensible price for my rather aged cars. I now have an Audi A6 which is booked in. I cannot recommend Colin enough. Always reliable, keeping me up to date with the repair/service progress and providing excellent value. They have moved to Loanhead.

Don't go near him , I say , try and fit a new engine yourself rather than risk him , he has moved now out to Loanhead by the way, wonder if he was 'run out of town ' , as I have heard he had a very poor reputation.

A quick phone call books my car in usually within 2 days, I get a call if any major work needs done and then another call when it's ready to pick up. They euxplained what needs fixed, how much it would cost and how long it would take clearly and so that I understood everything. The only minor thing that was a bit annoying the first time, is that if it's something minor like a tire needing replacing then they'll just do it and not call you but once you know it's fine.

Charges for oil, filters etc is separate and you will end up paying huge sum of money. Tricky way of getting customers in and then charge way higher then other garages.

Have a young baby so booked it in for 10.15 on Saturday morning…read moreand we had our Christmas night out on the Friday night so I know it was 100% not booked in for 8am as we have one car and a 15 month old, hence why i booked in in weeks in advance. My husband arrived in plenty of time and was told the car had to be in at 8am. Garage refused to complete MOT but do service. Husband spent the morning going back and forth to garage. Terrible experience and wasted a Christmas weekend due to their incompetence and poor communication. Would not recommend.
