"Farm to Fork" is just a misleading name not an actual practice…read more I've been buying from Farm To Fork meals in Miami, and while the food is convenient, I'm starting to wonder: how much of this is actually coming from a farm vs. a standard wholesaler? The name "Farm to Fork" implies a direct link to local agriculture, but I haven't seen any specific local farms named on their menus or website lately. When I asked in the store whether the ingredients are organic, they said that they're not. And then when I asked if it comes from a farm, they said yes and didn't elaborate about which farms when I asked. I pushed harder and also tried to get the phone number of the actual farms or facilities that produce or provide the ingredients. They couldn't tell me that either. When I called the customer service, they also gave me a generic response and couldn't point out to which farms they are actually referring, and which produce are being sourced from what farms. In a city where "farm-to-table" has occasionally been used more as a marketing buzzword than a reality, I'd love some transparency. https://www.reddit.com/r/ReadyMeals/comments/1ryc6c6/farm_to_fork_just_a_misleading_name_not_an_actual/

We also just tried the brisket and too smoky for my personal taste. Meat had a fat cap along top and would likely do best simmered in a BBQ sauce for awhile. (Yes I like wet foods) We decided several "meal prep" items were best as we wanted proteins more than sides and sweets. (There cookies do look good however). To date we have tried two meal preps and they are good. The Turkey Teriyaki Meatballs were very dense and a little dry. I would order next time as something where meatballs soak up sauce like Marinara. Tonight we had the shredded pork which was nice and the included sauce had some nice heat. It catches you afterwards. Fair amount for price paid. It isn't cheap but fair in value when you consider a restaurant entree prices . The meal prep sizes are ok for family of four, with no leftovers. We still make sides and veggies separately from home. We did have a Client Service issue on first order. They fairly brought a resolution and was not their mistake, our friend provided wrong referral code. We did have a special request that they could not assist with as missed cutoff. Still felt a little less than stellar for first relationship order, but overall they have been responsive and helpful. We have several more meals to try. Provided all is good we may order again shortly. Order by Wednesday night to get Sunday delivery and also note delivery charges are fair and appear to not be waived at any price point. Kudos for being able to leave tip in advance. Driver was nice, on time, and very cordial. The only suggestion would be to offer directions to warm food in addition to just microwave directions. We prefer traditional stove cooking for warm up and might not be doing the best for their creations.

With a new baby, we find ourselves spending a small fortune on delivery and getting delivered mediocre overpriced meal after mediocre overpriced meal. I discovered Chef B through a facebook ad and decided to take a look at his website. My wife and I typically eat a low carb, Keto type diet and finding quality food to accommodate our needs typically would have to made by us. I hate cooking and we end up with a ton of waste which I hate. Enter ChefB: I ordered a bunch of his Keto dishes and was truly impressed at both the quality, taste and portions delivered for the money. I also am a fan of BBQ and Chef's was very good. My wife and I are able to spend more time with one another and the baby after work thanks to this meal delivery service. We are grateful to have this wonderful option and look forward to ordering more delicious food in the future. Best of the best; keep up the great work, chef! I hope to see some grass fed meat options and more organic produce in the future. Followup: March 22, 2020 We continue to use and are happy with the quality put out by Meals by Chef B. This is an upstanding company that tries its best to please. For example, my order from yesterday was missing 2 of my soups. I texted the number who responded quickly apologizing for the missing soups. Given we are in the midst of a pandemic, I didn't expect much. Within an hour I had a redelivery of 4 more soups (I only was missing 2) and complimentary cookies and fruit. This company gets it, valuing customer service and knows the importance of keeping their regulars happy. My wife, the baby and I all eat this food and enjoy it. We are currently not leaving the house so having this type of high quality meal delivery is priceless. Continue the great work Chef B. I will continue to refer and use your services.

Breakfast with toddlers is less of a meal and more of a competitive sport…read more That's how we found ourselves at TooJay's Deli with our year and a half old grandsons. And right out of the gate, I'll say this place is very kid friendly. Because about ten minutes in, the boys began conducting what can only be described as a gravity experiment with anything within arm's reach. Our waitress handled it like a seasoned professional. Calm, patient, helpful, and completely unfazed as items occasionally achieved flight status. Her attitude alone set the tone for a really pleasant experience. Now the plot twist. The service was excellent. The food was... a little more complicated. My son and I started with the matzoh ball soup. It was good, but not quite in the same league as my wife's homemade version. The matzoh ball itself was dense, which I actually like. The broth, though, could have used a little more salt. Still good. Just not legendary. Meanwhile the boys were devouring pancakes with the focus of two tiny professional athletes. I didn't get a bite, but judging by the speed at which those pancakes disappeared, I'm comfortable saying they must have been very good. Then came my plate. Scrambled eggs with French fries and a bagel. Another small twist. The bagel was very good. The fries were cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy outside, fluffy inside. Exactly what you want. The eggs though? They told a different story. A basic breakfast staple that looked like they hit the pan at a little too much heat. Still edible, just not the soft scramble you hope for. My wife ordered the cheese blintzes and reported they were very good. My mom enjoyed her eggs as well, which added another small twist to the table conversation. Sometimes the food is the headliner. Sometimes the experience is. Today the grandsons and the waitress stole the show. Between the kid friendly atmosphere, the fantastic service, and some solid menu items, this visit lands at four stars. If three and a half stars existed, that might be the precise score for the food alone. But our waitress lifted the whole experience. And when you're dining with toddlers conducting airborne physics experiments, that kind of service deserves some extra credit.

The first issue I had with this company is they did not deliver my first meal. This was not their fault nor was not my fault. The Security company that mans our gates where I live had a software glitch. So myself or my husband did not get our food delivered for Monday. I called them once we left the movie theater (which we had phone silenced, thats why we couldn't get driver phone call) I explained that I knew this was an glitch and asked if I could drive and meet up with the driver. I was told no by the man who answered the phone, which he was also rude. I called on Monday afternoon during business hours and explained whaat happed and it would not be an issue again and could they please split the difference of the food. 4 meals, at $11.00 each is $44. I asked them to split the difference and give me a credit for $22. I was told no. I asked them cancel my meal plan. 2 people, 2 meals a day for 5 days is 20 meals a week which we were considering a long term relationship with them. But we have to understand in life, things happen. This should have been looked into from a longevity client perspective, but it was not. Salads were fresh, options of Keto and paleo and vegetarian made this a plus. They also have a $5 delivery fee for each day.
