I really hope this little gem does well. This neighborhood is on path to revitalize, with a few…read moreother good places to eat in the area, and I really believe this bistro will be part of that if they can hang on. Really like the decor, kind of a mix of homey country and clean modern lines. Fair amount of seating now, but if they get well known it might start getting crowded here. They have a good beer and wine selection, as well as Angry Orchard cider, a favorite of mine. Additionally, they have a couple of San Pellegrino flavors for those who don't want alcohol or soda. Their menu has good fare, with quiches and stratas and red potato salad (which is awesome), but my fave is the Ivory Grinder. It is pretty hard to beat a hot Italian style sandwich. Pepperoni, salami, turkey, provolone, and great veggies including a Mediterranean olive tapenade then topped with balsamic vinaigrette make for a great warm sandwich. They only have lunch hours right now, hoping in the future they expand for dinner. Please try this place and keep it going, Spokane needs more like this. They also cater so if you want to bring the love to your next function you won't be disappointed.

This is a lovely, peaceful cafe. If you are particular about ambiance I recommend you check out…read moreIvory Table. I even overheard some French in a nearby quiet conversation and it totally made my day. They serve sweet and savory large buckwheat crepes that keep bringing me in. I've had fruit crepes here before and this time I tried a savory crepe (it had arugula, tomatoes, and herb goat cheese). They also offer salads, cookies, and sandwiches. The only problem I've encountered is that their hours are a bit untraditional so it is important to check to ensure you aren't missing them. (I've forgotten about this and tried to visit when they have been closed). I've come up with a simple limerick to help myself remember when they are open. Here it goes... If Ivory Table I Want To Munch Think Monday to Friday Employee Lunch Eleven to Three Berries and Brie Fancy French Crepe Midweek Brunch (They are open M-F 11-3pm) Never fear, mommy bloggers, they serve great coffee (Strong, fresh Roast House with a chilled pitcher of cream) and have highchairs available. I've also heard rumors that they do "Build Your Own Feast" catering and fancy exclusive dinners, so I'm keeping them on my radar for those.

Absolutely disgusting. Some guy comes in screaming and cursing at the employees only to discover…read morehe's the co-owner Floyd. It was so bad they had security called. You couldn't even bother to take it to a back room? One of the employees even said there are customers here and he cursed more and said he didn't care. Obviously I don't know what happened that made him so upset but nobody deserves to be yelled at like that, and in front of customers. Talk about unprofessional. How this place is still open and why people support it is beyond me. I try to support small businesses but I won't tolerate one that treats it employees and customers with such blatant disrespect.

The Business: I think this place is new, but I was able to find a Fan Page on Facebook, and it allowed me to find their information. Located in Renton?? It's so close to home! (well, closer than Seattle is). I felt bad because during MC5, this place had steady customers, though no where near the line that El Camion had (which was right next door). However, being that TBB hasn't earned its place in the hearts of mobile food stand lovers yet, I see why some people might be skeptical to try it. The Food: DELICIOUS. I ordered the coconut chicken slider and had a bite of the kobe beef slider. The coconut chicken was scrumptious! The chicken was breaded and so crispy on the outside and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender on the inside. It felt like I was biting into a fish sandwich (well, almost). The coconut was sweet and delectable. The kobe beef sliders were tasty as well. The aioli it was coated with had a nice spice profile. Both of these little sliders packed a punch of flavor! I'll definitely be looking for you on the streets! I hope you guys do well :-D
