    Malvagio's - Pepperoni pizza

Just ate there. We purchased the godfather Pizza. First two items mentioned in the menu was red…read moresauce and cheese blend. I could not discern any red sauce or cheese blend on this pizza. It was less than 12 in across and a great deal of that was crust. The pepperonis were so done they were like pepperoni chips and it was salty very salty according to my husband and tasted burnt and Smokey. Now I'm assuming the Smokey was from the wood fire but still. We felt this pizza was inedible. We also had ordered two separate meals to go one was a noodle Alfredo and the other was a pesto noodle ravioli. We have not tried them yet. We hope they aren't as salty. My husband had the Caesar salad and it also was inedible due to the fact that it was made up with raw garlic which made it extremely hot. Maybe we're just wusses. My salad was the house salad with the house dressing which was a raspberry vinaigrette and I thought it was very good. At least it wasn't salty and it wasn't hot. There was no one in the restaurant but then again it was only around 2:00 in the afternoon and the fair was going on across the street. The single waiter was very personable and each one of those meals were $22 each. The pizza was 24. Very attractive place I'm sure it's an acquired taste for local people having been in business since 2016. It just was not our cup of tea. The thing that we like the best was the tablecloths. We packaged up the pizza to take home and I'm going to dump some sauce and some cheese on it and hope that we can make it more palatable so it's not a total waste of $24. UPDATE: Added red sauce, salami, and italian blend cheese to the pizza, it was at least palatable, but not what I'd call pizza. And just to make it clear, I'm not a fan of Dominos, Papa Murphy, or any other pizza place in CDA so far either so theres that... HAHA. But I have to change the rating of the restaurant because the PESTO RAVIOLI IS FANTASTIC!!!!! Simply SUPERB! And the noodles alfredo is fine as well. Not sure I agree with the value of $22 each....but still, totally yummy. The little "bruschetta" type bread slices with each are a nice addition as well. But....sincerely, the ravioli was TO DIE FOR. So credit where credit is due.

The Strawberry balsamic vinegarette was so good people went back just to get seconds on the salad alone! One of our guests had made the statement within earshot of one of the owners, Sabrina, that she was on a special diet and couldn't eat what was being served. So Sabrina fixed up some chicken that our guest could eat. Talk about going above and beyond! Sabrina and her hubby fixed up a wonderful Italian dinner for us. And honestly, better than any Italian restaurant in the Spokane area...and my whole family is Italian. Food Service Price 10People We will be using them for my daughter's wedding next year too! We made many adjustments to the menu, time frame and number of guests but they just rolled with it and were quick to respond with email, which is so important to any bride planning a wedding! We knew we wanted a taco truck from the beginning to fit the laid back vibe we were looking for. I know a taco truck isn't what they do for most weddings, and they may not be able to do this for anyone, anytime but it worked out since our wedding site was close to their home. We were so excited when they said they were willing to pull their taco truck into the backyard and serve out of the window verses serving the meal buffet style, which is easier for everyone. They pulled together the best combination of dishes, adjusted the price and assembled a menu to match our vision. Sabrina was a great source for small wedding details since she used to be a wedding coordinator! We were hesitant to choose more of a Mexican dish, since we knew they specialized in Jamaican food, but they did a great job and were great sports about it. As the bride, I only got to have one small plate, and it was cold when I was finally able to eat but everyone RAVED about every single thing from their customer service to the fresh lemonade!! The fact that they were local and pride them selves on maintaining that sold me the second I found their website. Everything turned out perfect. The bottom line is they were flexible and very accommodating! I totally reccommend Green Bluff Fresh to anyone whether you're looking for a laid back vibe or a more sophisticated dinner!!

Catering review…read more They almost ruined our wedding, and then proceeded to tell us we are greedy, gluttonous, liars! Jessica catered for our wedding last weekend, before the wedding we had 82 guests that would be needing food for the wedding so we decided to tell her to cook for 91 people that way we would have plenty of extra food even though she had told me weeks ahead of time there will be extra food if some of the guests would like seconds that's not a problem. In the end we only had 70 people show up and stay for dinner. By the time the last table was dismissed to get food it was nearly gone (both meats and the mashed potatoes, there was still green beans, salad, and rolls left) so that whole table including my mother in law and our photographer ended up with very bare plates! We tracked down the two guys who set up the buffet (and mind you they showed up looking very unprofessional in blue jeans and graphic t-shirts) sitting in the bed of their truck in the parking lot and asked if there was extra food because it was almost gone, they said no and that everyone was only supposed to take one kind of meat.. which no one had ever mentioned to us before this moment. A couple days after the wedding we called Jessica and explained the minimal food situation and how we had over 20 less guests than we had originally planned for, thank god! Her response was 'well I saw people loading up their plates and then throwing away excessive amounts of food after dinner, and I've never seen guests fill their plates like that in my 20 years catering.' I asked her if she was there and she said yes, my husband stopped her and asked again if she was there and where she was at during the event, she then responds that she wasn't actually there this was all information relayed from her guys.. who sat in the bed of their truck in the parking lot the entire time. She also told us that the wedding party was snatching food from the serving platters before the guys had a chance to take them out to the buffet line. This statement couldn't be farther from the reality of the situation, her guys were cutting up the tri tip on the cutting board and after he was all done and had loaded up the aluminum tray he left about 10 small scraps, mostly the fatty bites with minimal amount of meat on the cutting board and as he walked the tray out the door to the buffet line he said these few bites are for the wedding party to enjoy before we get to the buffet line. We went around and took photos with every table during dinner and have since asked several of our guests if they saw 'loading of plates and throwing away excessive food' none of us saw anything like she is claiming to have seen first hand. During the phone call Jessica kept telling us she 'is sorry that our guests took so much unnecessary food and then threw away heaping plates. She's never seen anything like that in her 15 years catering' .. I thought it was 20 years? She also said 'I provide enough meat for each guest to have 1/2 a pound which is why I cooked 40 pounds of meat for your event' but we told her we would have 91 guests.. apparently math also isn't her strong subject. She kept telling us she already apologized and she isn't sure what else we want from her, when her apology was nothing more than just repeating how our guests are selfish and gluttonous. The only thing we were looking for was some understanding a genuine apology for the added and unnecessary stress on our wedding day, we were only met with condescending judgement and superiority complex from Jessica. I'm sure she will respond to this review reiterating her points about our guests and reiterating we are liars. Overall, the food tasted good but the stress of running out of food and being called gluttonous liars multiple times is not worth anything she offers. Save yourself the stress and use any other catering company for your event!

Sad because I was TOLD ID HAVE THE DAY. And I have been waiting 7 months! What if I didn't check in? Would she have screwed me even closer to the wedding? She flaked and DO NOT RECOMMEND. It was chicken Alfredo with one or two bite size pieces of chicken (processed out of a can?) and the serving size was pitiful. We asked for an extra roll when we finally got through the line and we were ignored. Even the green beans (out of a number 10 can) were rationed. The staff certainly did not want to be there. Thank goodness people attending brought lots of deserts to share because that is what satisfied us. If I was hiring them, I would have them make a sample of exactly what they are quoting you for, take a picture of it, and don't pay them until after the event if they execute the contract. Get everything in writing so you are not embarrassed in front of your guests. Maybe they are capable of catering well for a small event but this one was a disaster.

The Business: I think this place is new, but I was able to find a Fan Page on Facebook, and it allowed me to find their information. Located in Renton?? It's so close to home! (well, closer than Seattle is). I felt bad because during MC5, this place had steady customers, though no where near the line that El Camion had (which was right next door). However, being that TBB hasn't earned its place in the hearts of mobile food stand lovers yet, I see why some people might be skeptical to try it. The Food: DELICIOUS. I ordered the coconut chicken slider and had a bite of the kobe beef slider. The coconut chicken was scrumptious! The chicken was breaded and so crispy on the outside and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender on the inside. It felt like I was biting into a fish sandwich (well, almost). The coconut was sweet and delectable. The kobe beef sliders were tasty as well. The aioli it was coated with had a nice spice profile. Both of these little sliders packed a punch of flavor! I'll definitely be looking for you on the streets! I hope you guys do well :-D
