Turns out on the horribly cold snowy rainy day they came they elected to climb tree rather than use a lift. They did a spectacular job! We went out anticipating a need to do some clean up...not a stick, log leaf or sawdust anywhere...area was absolutely spotless. Price was very competitive; couldn't ask for any better experience.

We hired Canopy Walkers for jobs at two of our properties. One is our residence, the other a rental…read moreproperty. We asked Roger to finish our residence work before he started on the rental work. Both jobs were extensive, with many trees to cut (about 22 at our house), stumps to be ground, trunks to be cut to firewood length and brush to be put in an agreed location on our property. We paid Roger half of our total bill before he started work. We had to call/text him numerous times before he finally showed up with a crew and an attitude. They cut down most of the trees in a few hours. Then they left. Over the course of 9 weeks, many texts/calls Roger or someone he sent, managed to show up for a total of 4 times. The trees are all down, but they are not all cut up, none of the stumps are removed or ground up. At least one tree that I wanted to keep was damaged by a falling tree. I suspect another tree hit my garage as the gutter is mysteriously separated from the downspout and the downspout has a huge dent in it. Roger also took a Black Walnut tree without authorization because he wanted to use it/sell it. I cannot in good conscience recommend Canopy Walkers to anyone who has more than one day's work to be done. If you only have a tree or two, you might come out okay. Give your big jobs to someone who will finish your job before moving on to someone else. Needless to say, he will not be working at our rental property. We still hope we can convince Canopy Walkers to complete their contract with us, but they don't communicate with us, so we have no idea what plans they have for completion.

I used the online order form on their website to order two face cords of firewood. After five days of not hearing from them, but seeing on my debit card account that they had already processed the charge, I used their online form on their website to contact them that I had not received any firewood. I waited another three days and called them, but getting a human being to answer one of their phone tree numbers was a challenge. Finally, a lady gave me the personal number of the man who handles the firewood (maybe you could include that number on the order form!). When I finally got him on the phone, he made no apology for the fact that they had taken my money and not delivered any product nor answered my two e-mails, but at least I got the order through. I had them dump the firewood at the top of my driveway, but I wasn't home at the time. When my son started stacking the wood in the back, I noticed all the wood debris that came with the firewood. Apparently, they didn't want to take the time to clean out their truck and decided to dump all the fine debris collected over several deliveries onto my driveway (I have a photo, but there's no way to paste it in) for me to clean up. They also spent time on a garden bed that had been removed by them 10 days before, where they leveled the ground, placed down topsoil and seeded grass. The crew were hard working and led by Tom who was very professional and friendly (thank you, Tom!). The crew cleaned up all debris before they left. Overall, I highly recommend them as a landscaping company. And a big thank you to Trevor Wood who directed and oversaw the entire project. By the way, every time we now drive into our driveway, it makes me so happy, because our property looks so beautiful !
