Laywer flyers all sound like "only pay when you get reduced" first timers think they will only write a check when "tax dollars drop" what they do NOT know is that there is no mention of "dollars" in their contracts, it's Assessed Value. If you take on a lawyer in your increase year, a year you get hiked 40% and they lower you 30%, your taxes still go up 10% and the lawyer says the 30% buffer saved you $2000 of which he takes 33-50%! $300 to $1,000.
