If you're walking around Bologna wondering what to snack on. We Sfarina Located in the Mercato delle Erbe building. This building is a nice place to browse as well, kinda like a city farmers market. Vendors that sell fresh fruit and vegetables all in season.
Sfarni is located in one of the edge stalls. Easy to find if you just walk around the perimeter.
Ambiance: casual and friendly. Staff welcomed us in with an English menu.
Service: efficient. We asked for a Piadina recommendation and they recommended the seasoned nap special.
Food: we ordered the Sarina to share. Simply tasty with Parma ham PDO 18 months"Zuarina" Romagna squacquerone PDO cheese with rocket salad (Arugula).
Sat at the stall with a couple of drinks and ate it there. Nice change from the busy cafes on the streets.
I highly recommend giving this place a try. Great for lunch or snack time. If you're reading this review from Hawaii, then you better make your way to Italy for a foodie tour. read more
