We love Farber Swim School! We have been in the baby and me swim lessons for over a year and a half now. My 2 year old knows water safety skills and LOVES the water. Our teacher is Annie and she is AMAZING! Definitely sign up for lessons or even drop in lessons to check it out. Very reasonable priced too!

They have a good teacher to student ratio for baby and me class. My toddler thoroughly enjoyed her class. Her instructor was awesome. They teach lot of techniques and keep the toddler occupied. Towards the end, they get a water slide which is highlight for the kiddos. They have 2 pools and one of them goes from 2 feet to 4 feet so there is plenty of space for toddlers to stand up by themselves and have some fun. 2nd pool is deeper and is mainly for bigger kids/ adults. I enrolled her in the toddler class. There were just 2 kids so the teacher gave a lot of personal attention. My toddler loves water and toys so she had a blast. Overall the first experience here was very good. If you are going to stay in and watch then be aware that swim area is super warm so keep your sweaters and jackets at home. I felt like it was 90 degree so I was getting cooked in my cotton sweater and boots:(. I am looking forward for her next class!

I had the pleasure of photographing little swimmers during Farber Swim School's Easter Swim. The experience exceeded my expectations. The staff was welcoming and made the event feel like a family gathering. I loved seeing the smiles of the parents and kiddos while playing together in the pool. The pool area was perfect for all levels of swimmers. I can see why one of the little swimmers wanted her birthday party to be at the pool! It's a perfect place for fun and making new memories. I sure wish I had taken swimming lessons when I was that young!

Facilities are worn down. Locker rooms are small, filthy, and someplace you won't want to be in with your children. Expensive. Steer clear.

I was a little intimidated to be working with him initially. I've only had female personal trainers in the past, and I came into that session during a phase of life where I felt disconnected from my body. I felt very vulnerable and exposed to be reaching out for help to a really strong gym guy. During that session, Matt made me feel so comfortable. He was kind and encouraging. We talked about all of my postpartum challenges and he took notes on what mattered most to me and what I wanted from our time together. I really appreciated how he didn't assume what I wanted or needed just from looking at me. I left that session feeling empowered, hopeful, and safe in this space. (Not to mention he fixed my squat in that first session!) Over the last few months, with Matt's programming, I have gained a few pounds of muscle and lost 6% of my body fat. He writes my programs based on my schedule and what I enjoy doing. He's adapted my workouts to support my pelvic floor health which was a very big postpartum concern for me. Any fear I had of bringing up my pelvic floor to a male trainer were squashed by Matt's caring/person-first approach to training. If you are feeling vulnerable, exposed or intimidated, but ready to get some professional support in the gym, I cannot recommend Matt more highly. He's the trainer for you! In addition to my work with Matt, I began taking Reformer Pilates classes once a week with Kate. It is the most fun I've ever had while working that hard! The Reformer machine is such a unique piece of equipment and keeps my brain really interested and engaged in what we are doing. The glide of the carriage and buoyancy of the springs feel so unique to other types of equipment. It's SO fun- horizontal jumping anyone?! But also, so challenging! Luckily for me, Kate is an incredible instructor! Her cues and prompts are spot on and always help me correct my form and activate the right muscle group. She moves throughout the room and provides individualized encouragement and coaching to each of us. Kate also facilitates an awesome vibe in the class! She is fun and friendly and has created a space that feels welcoming and easy to enter into, even as a total beginner. I'm extremely thankful for the team at Villa Sport who have made me feel like I belong while also achieving my goals. 10/10 recommend.

VillaSport provided exactly that. I frequent the spa and Rachael always welcomes me with a smile, remembers my name, and is great to work with. I have had the pleasure of working with Judie several times. She delivers excellent services while answering my questions, educating me on skincare, and creating a relaxing environment during my facials. Both massages I've had at the spa have been fantastic. Most recently, I met with Richard after a workout, and he not only provided a great massage but also helped me understand how massage supports my fitness goals. I look forward to seeing him again. Because I feel comfortable at VillaSport, I decided to move forward with personal training. After speaking with a few great team members, I was connected with Matt. He has been everything I needed and more--patient, knowledgeable, a great communicator, and, most importantly, someone who makes me feel at ease in a new environment. The facilities are managed extremely well and appropriately for the membership fees. Very clean: hot-tubs, pools, steam room, saunas, showers, locker rooms and bathrooms, I am confident they have a stellar facilities team! We recently had a snow storm, the sidewalks and parking lot was properly maintained- way to be! Thank you, Villa Team! Your exceptional customer service makes working out much easier to show up and put in the work.

Going to see my little 6 mo old granddaughter swim...I was very excited!…read moreThe Farber Swim School was sooo disappointing to me! I realize they want to keep it warm for the children, however it is way too hot in there and so is the water! Great place for germs and bacteria especially the water/pool doesn't look clear and clean! The instructor ( is she a life guard???). Last week a little baby fell off of slide into the water close to the stairs...the instructor paid no attention or concern....seemed kind of irresponsible to me and a little dangerous! Iam hoping my daughter will take my advice and stop going there with her little girl. I think it is one big cesspool waiting for a little victim!! Scares me!!!!! Definitely, concerned!! Where is the health board?????

The first thing we needed to do is to dip our kid in the water to let him practice holding his breath. That scared him so much that he started crying and wanted to get out immediately. I tried going back in the pool but he kept saying "come out" and cried. That is one thing, but what upset me the most is that the instructor totally ignored us. I understand that there were 5 more students in the class, but she couldn't even come over and ask "are you OK?" or anything at all. She didn't even talked to us once the class was over even though she must have noticed that my son and I spent the entire class on the chair outside the pool. I had one more drop in class scheduled which I of course wanted to cancel. However, they wouldn't refund my class no matter the reason, not even partially. This was about 3 days before our next scheduled class and I think it was no surprise that I wanted to cancel since now my son wouldn't even go into the pool, let alone do some sort of instructed class. If you want your child to like water and learn in a happy environment, I would recommend to choose a different center.

A decade at this pool is always love and hate. Because of community here it's so good to think…read morethat we have outdoor swimming pool in summer BUT most of the time we are unable to use it. Their lap swim schedule is horrible. After work, between 4-6 pm: only 2 lanes for "multiple" swimmers AND joggers. Yes turtles and dolphins together in the lane! The rest 4 lanes for swim lessons. If you swim you know how annoying it is to get blocked by joggers. One thing for you to think about; with respect those joggers that have all the floaty devices, shouldn't they go jog at the deep end or just any available spots in the pool? They don't need lanes. Lap swimmers need lanes, with clear direction and separated fast and slow lanes. And this year, no open-swim at the end of the hot sweaty days because they have to keep 2 lanes for little kids swim class *at the shallow area* ok that's fine but why waste of resource at the deep end. And one lane reserved for "private lesson". Ok thprd you value private lesson but that's only 40 bucks at most you get. The reality is, it doesn't serve teens and adults who want to practice their strokes, lets face it this lane out of six serve ONE wealthy kid. Where is equality you stand for? It is stupid decision of management. Swim center supervisor should understand the use of the pool especially in small community that have so many young children. Another thing to think about, ONE kid common! What a privilege. Thprd, ask neighborhood if you can't come up with a better idea for scheduling. Please ask. We pay tax. We send our kids to swim lessons continually for 10 years we have a lot of valuable inputs. We are good members who always follow the rules and clean up the park. We want to swim. Yes! We want to "swim". Do you understand?
