Carmel greeted me right at the door and was so friendly and accommodating! If you park in the lot, she will validate your parking ticket for you. Doctor Monica spent over an hour with me for a consultation and adjustment. We spoke in depth about my pain and concerns, and then she explained what she believed we needed to work on. She said she really focuses on muscle therapy, in addition to adjustment, which has already made a world of difference after one visit. I've been dealing with a shoulder injury for 8 years, and it has recently worsened. After one session with her, I am feeling much better. I then had a massage with Alicia, and it complimented my adjustment perfectly! I've never had a professional massage focus time on my head and feet, and it felt so nice! Important to point out, the practice is currently only accepting BCBS insurance. I'm fortunate to have that so I only have a co-pay for the adjustment and massage, but if you don't have BCBS, the massage would be $80, and I'm not sure the cost of the adjustment. Also worth noting is that the office space is so nice! It's clean, modern, inviting, and has spa vibe to it, as opposed to a medical office. Finally, it's located in Gaslight Village, so after my appointment, I ventured to Starbucks for a coffee and to read my book. Great day!

He adjusted the problem areas of my back and my neck with some other areas. I immediately smiled for the first time in months. So to set the story. I had been seeing other Chiropractors prior to Dr.Heath. I had been to 2 other offices that could not and did not want to fix me. I hadn't been able to smile or stand straight for months. I was cranky and lazy. I had intestinal issues. My blood pressure was sky high. I was a total wreck. I took a chance with this office. It was the best decision i have made in years. I have been through the talks about how you can solve everything with the right spinal care. The staff at Chiropractic First believe in this. It is not a saying that they use to get your money. (it works like that at other places) They actually showed me how i could be better and explained why. No doc ever takes the time to explain anything now days. The office itself is a bit old and dated. It is clean and does not smell. The equipment is in relative good condition. The staff are all super friendly. The staff is in good shape, health, etc. Appointments are carefully watched and if you miss one they call to get you in. There was not a charge for missing one of my appointments i couldn't make it to. Instead they went out of their way to find a new slot for me. I have been given a instructions on how to help myself with stretches and a little foam neck support. It turn out that i have a neck issue that causes the back issue. Nobody else noticed this. PROPS AGAIN to HEATH Dr. Heath turned out to be a bit of a comedian also. He makes jokes and has a fun time while he checks your alignment and then the majestic adjustment and you feel great. I don't believe in magic but some people have talent. I wont say that my neck and back are anywhere near fixed, but i am a new patient and i expect that he will get me there soon. This has been by all means the best care i have ever had. Hands down. I was a 9-10 pain when I went to Chiropractic First, the first adjustment I was a 5 and by the end of the week I was a 4-3. It's clear immediately this is a "value doctor" selling you on the best price and not the best quality or service. Fast forward to my exam - The doctor claimed he couldn't hear the popping in my back as he was pushing and making it happen, even with it happening multiple times. He made claims that my back was in "exceptional" shape and that I had zero need for any further care after a rear end car accident. There were multiple discrepancies in his report, things not recorded or seemingly purposely left out. The same day, right after this appointment, I attended a separate independently set up evaluation at Mary Free Bed rehabilitation clinic where I was seen by an Osteopathic Doctor. This doctor had a very long list of things I am suffering from including the popping/snapping, periscapular problems, spinal issues, etc. I believe that Dr Aamodt isn't the best choice as a result of him missing very obvious and blatant things with my condition or choosing not to honestly report his findings. Hard to argue when 5 other medical service providers have been able to find and notate these issues within the last few weeks. As a result of all of this, I would highly consider a different practice.
