However, after an auto accident with whiplash in 2020...Dr. Angel assured me the whiplash would go away with consistency ...and it did. Between the medical massages, X-rays to watch improvement, and every chiropractor session he would genuinely want to know what was bothering me each session, and then would check every body point from feet to neck for alignment with paying extra attention on the issue that kept me up at night. After 6 weeks, I never felt so good. The entire staff felt like family! To get to this point, you need to be consistent and follow his directions. Recently, I had a strange throat clicking and a 'Stone' stuck in my saliva glands. I called Dr. Angel up after not being in his office for a year (due to feeling better), and asked if he could help me after two ER visits and two primary care visits. Instantly, he said come on in. He took the time to examine me in a private room, did X-rays to make sure it wasn't a tumor or abscess, and told me a couple of sessions would fix the issue. He was exactly right. Please know, when you choose this chiropractor office...they consider you like family. He takes his profession seriously and aims to help you. Each session is personalized. Yes, it's a business. I was very sick: heart and digestive problems. Dr. John tested me with state-of-the-art equipment that properly determined that my problem (panic attacks, anxiety, etc.) was caused by a slow parasympathetic system. My thyroid was the 'gist of my problems. It was causing the digestive and heart problems... and the panic/anxiety. Dr. John put me on a 12-visit nutritional program where he monitors what I eat, muscle tests me for what my body needs, and prescribes a catered nutritional supplementary whole-food program based on what he found. I have been visiting Dr. John for about 6 months. The result? My panic attacks and anxiety are gone. My heart problems are no more... I am able to work out again. My digestive problems are gone too. I did a treatment plan of Physical therapy which helped some, but still did not resolve all of my symptoms. I was at my wits end when I called and scheduled with McAlpine chiro. For the first time since my accident, I finally felt heard and could sense his genuine compassion and eagerness to want to help me. After the first two adjustments I already had relief from the pain that I had for 8 months. Soon my mood improved, my extreme fatigue started to go away, and the pain was minimal. For 8 months my whole life was on pause. I was a completely different person. Once I went to McAlpine Chiro, I started making plans for activities with my family again! Going on bike rides, and making plans to participate in all the things I used to enjoy. Dr. De Young saved my summer. I had an awful 8 months missing out on downhill skiing and ice hockey on the pond with my family, and now feel renewed and refreshed and back to my active fun loving self again. Thank you Dr. DeYoung for all of your compassion and for your excellent skill of cracking backs and taking names... or making claims (insurance claims) ..
