I emailed this place and got a call right away from Chano. Unfortunately he was already booked for the day/time that I needed but referred Miguel to me. I was a little sketchy since it was not Chano that I got but it turned out that Miguel was fantastic. He showed up on time, professionally dressed, worked hard the whole time, did not even sit down when I offered it and did not say no to any design that was being requested of him. The guests and kids all was super thrilled with Miguel and what was made for them. Other moms asked me for his information. Miguel was very polite, professional and just straight up awesome. What can I say, Chano was a hit! I originally booked him for an hour per his recommendation but the kids (and adults) loved his creations so much we asked him to stay another hour. Booking was easy and he answered all my questions in a prompt manner, he showed up on time and was friendly. He made my nephew a jet pack he could wear, Thomas the train, he made a rattle with rice in it so it made noise, a penguin, you name it he could make it. I've only seen this balloon twister at Taps restaurant. The man goes on Sundays for the restaurants brunch hours. His services are complimentary, with an option to tip if you would like to include. He used to make whatever balloons for the guests without a question and at least tried to create a balloon the guest wanted. However, this was not my experience recently. I was the second person in line with my baby and husband and we waited in line for our turn patiently. He took a long time creating a camel hat for the guest in front of us and even went so far as to put a balloon cigarette in its mouth, which by the way was not requested by the guest. That was a little weird in my opinion but I guess he thought it was funny. The line began to grow. It was finally our turn and after patiently waiting we asked for a Forky balloon for our baby, as he loves Toy Story. To our disappointment the man denied our request for a Forky indicating that it would take too long and there was a long line behind us. He said to come back when the line isn't long and he could make it. But when we first came we were second in line and there was no line! Look, I get the concern for a long line but he's the one who took forever for the guest in front of us and she was able to get what she asked for and that extra weird cigarette in its mouth that she didn't even request. So, why couldn't he simply make a Forky for our baby really quick after we waited, before there was even a long line! Have you seen Forky? It's literally white balloons with a red balloon wrapped around for arms. How would that take too long to recreate for us? I've also seen him create a Forky before on a previous visit to Taps restaurant. We settled for an Elmo which in my opinion was more complex than a Forky would have been. Regardless, my husband tipped the man and we left with our undesired balloon. All in all, I was disappointed with the service and unimpressed with our product and would not recommend his services based on this particular experience. read more

Chano was a big hit at my son's 1st birthday! He did the airbrush and glitter tattoos for one hour and the second hour was reserved for balloon twisting! He moves fast and the kids and adults (yes.. I said adults) did not have to wait in line too long! My guests loved the tattoos soo much.. So we extended it for another hour. The email replies from Chano were terse and infrequent so I was a bit concerned, but I decided to trust the Yelpers - and I'm glad I did. My guests were a little shy about going up to him at first but after he made an amazing Goofy balloon for my son (he said it was for the birthday boy), all the kids lined up to get one for themselves! Balloons were such a big hit, he was only able to squeeze in air brush tattoo for about thirty minutes, but he stayed until the last little customer was served. His balloons are unbelievable, and my guests still talked about it a couple of days after the party. I contacted a few other places, but Fantasy Balloon Art had the best rate and I absolutely loved their service. I would hire him again when I have another party. read more

I had the opportunity to attend a local gathering with my son held at the Fuddruckers restaurant in Lakewood. He was the balloon artist there for the family night and was kind enough to create this huge Goofy figure for him. He's absolutely amazing and an incredible artist. He was even making hot dogs out of balloons, these awesome light up roses, beautifully feathered headpieces, it was just something I had never seen before and was quite impressed! I love their service! SUPERB is what my experience with them entails.This is actually our first time booking a balloon twister at our son's first birthday party. The booking process was quick and easy after the phone call and everything was through email. I spoke with Chano during booking but Nhan was our balloon twister. She was phenomenal! Her balloons were a hit at our party ! Everyone loved her balloon creations including adults of all ages. She was on time and very professional and great with the kids. Originally I booked for both balloon twisting and face painting but due to miscommunication on their end and Nhan was not prepared for face painting so we only had balloon twisting. I was a bit disappointed at first because we were expecting both services but didn't mind it much after how popular and fun the people at the party are having with just the balloons. They even gave me a discount as an apology for their mistake which I thought was very accommodating and professional on their end! Chano even offered us 1 free service hour voucher to use in the future because of what happened. This is what I will say GREAT customer service!I will for sure use their service again in the future because I personally experienced how great they are and how well they can work around any issues when it arises. Chano was AMAZING!!!! Used him for my son's 7th birthday party Angry birds theme. My son has autism and sometimes he asks for some pretty crazy balloons Chano was able to make whatever he asked for and was very friendly and fast! The kids and adults all enjoyed the balloon animals and then he brought out the airbrush for face painting and tattoos which were a hit with everyone! The balloon artist (Miguel) we had for our sons birthday party was great. He was neat and well dressed and very nice. He twisted all kinds of designs for the kids and they all loved it. I even got compliments from a lot of the parents for my choice in balloon artist. Also, they did not charge us the extra fee for being slightly out of their normal driving range. I had a face painter from another company at our party as well and she charged us for being just slightly out of their driving range. This review is for Miguel, balloon artist. We booked him last minute for our daughter's 1st birthday b/c we could no longer do a bubbleshow. I wasn't sure about Miguel b/c most of the reviews here are for Chano, but let me tell you Miguel was so awesome. I have never had so many guests compliment me on a vendor, ask me for that vendor's information. Miguel ran out of business cards and he worked so hard the whole 2 hours he was there. He didn't rest for a moment, not that he could since our guests were constantly clamoring for more of Miguel amazing balloon work. I've seen my fair share of balloon artists, and honestly in my opinion Miguel is the best! His stuff is so crazy and complex I can't believe its made with balloons. Anyways, he's probably going to become super busy, so I say book him fast. We wish we had another birthday event to throw so we could book him again. read more

My wife and I hired Chano to do balloon art for our son's birthday. He was quite the hit with the kids (as evidenced by the line of children waiting to have their balloon figures created), and was very reasonably priced. If I recall correctly, we paid him a deposit via Paypal and paid the remaining balance via cash. Chano's balloon figurines were very impressive and a number of parents commented to us afterwards that their kids could not stop talking about the balloon artist! The only issue we initially had was that it took Chano a little while to get back to us regarding our initial attempts to contact him. However, he explained that he had been slammed with clients and inquiries, and that he was trying to get caught up with all of the e-mails that he had received (this was right around Christmastime).
