Always difficult ordering flowers when you live outside the state, I do lots of reading in yelp , looking at pictures and reading the latest remarks. That's so important to me. I called in a order the Wednesday day before thanksgiving , very pleasant conversation with the young lady asked me what I was interested in and price range and the delivery fee. She stated the delivery would be on Friday (which was perfect ) morning and she would send me a picture of the arrangement. That alone was great and very appreciated. The recipients of the arrangement where very happy and loved loved the flowers. Thank You fantastic flowers you did a wonderful amazing job!

I did an online order for flowers for my friend. You never know what you're going to get when you do something online. Fantastic flowers did a fabulous job!! The flowers were so beautiful and well worth the money that I spent. The candy add-on was a nice bonus and the size of the candy package was good for the amount of money I spent. The owner was nice enough to call my friend for her work address and reroute the flowers to that address to ensure they were fresh when she got them.

This was a spray for my father's funeral. Exactly what I asked for and delivered as promised. Thank you, recommend.

This is without a doubt the kindest, most understanding florist I've ever dealt with. I had a very special request for my bridal bouquet with a flower that was not quite in season. She told me she would do her best or use something similar. On the morning of my wedding I was so surprised that she was able to deliver the perfect bouquet with my special flower. The other floral arrangement is by Fantastic flowers as well. I recieved from a friend. I had to place them under my wedding picture because the colors blend so well. During such a difficult time, Mary Alice was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful in planning and delivering all of our arrangements. I placed an order for a Premium New Baby Basket on November 3rd for delivery next day and after not receiving delivery confirmation I called. I spoke to I assume was the owner on 11/5 because my friend had yet to receive her flowers and the owner told me that they had a couple events that weekend and I should have received notification or not be able to place my order. She was nice and explained but, should have at least been called or my order should have been cancelled. Long story short, she was able to get the flowers out on 11/5 in the evening but, what prompted me to write a review is the basket my friend received did not look anything like what I ordered. Please see pictures for reference. I was truly disappointed. The owner did mention she didn't have the pink bunny in the original picture. But, the basket and flowers just look completely different. Keep in mind this was $93 dollars out the door. read more

Truly a family owned and operated business that is everything good about customer service and personalized care. Mary Alice went above and beyond to execute exactly what my mother wanted for her Aunt's out of state funeral that she is unable to attend. I am out of town so I had to put a lot of trust in the existing Yelp reviews prior to mine but I am so glad I did. Absolutely stunning end result and I highly recommend Fantastic Flowers for all your SA floral needs. P.S. Pro-tip to say "designer's choice" and tour budget. You can pick out a design from the web page if you prefer of course but I have always found if you simply "let Picasso paint!" and tell them what is important to you (for this arrangement it was the ribbon with AUNT MARY) the florist will 9 times out of 10 deliver something even more stunning, as was the case here. read more

The flowers were so beautiful and well worth the money that I spent. The candy add-on was a nice bonus and the size of the candy package was good for the amount of money I spent. The hubbs & I decided to order flowers for his moms for her birthday, but were a bit reluctant since we live in Dallas, and didn't want to use any of the huge flower companies.To Yelp I went to read reviews on local flower companies in San Antonio, and so glad I opted to go local. I've had bad experiences with the 800-flowers type companies in the past, and did not want to go through that disappointment again. When I contacted Fantastic Flowers, a most generous and knowledgeable lady greeted me, which I soon learned to be the owner, Mary Alice. I told her what I was interested in from perusing her website beforehand, and she informed me what she had in stock per the season. The only absolute was roses, since my mom-in-law's name is Rose. I gave her freedom to create something fantastic...pun intended! She accommodated the delivery time I requested, and sent me a couple of text pics of the arrangement on the day of delivery, and it was super reasonable! There's a reason I support local businesses. They actually care about the customer! I will most definitely be contacting Mary Alice for my mom's birthday in December or any other occasion that might arise in SA! I live in California and needed to send flowers for a funeral in San Antonio. I spoke with Mary who made the whole process easy and stress free. It was great to speak with someone so knowledgeable and kind. I had no idea what I needed except the ribbon colors and she provided me with great flower suggestion within my budget. I have no doubt the flowers will be beautiful and bring comfort to my family from far away. Once I get a picture I will post it! I was pretty apprehensive about the class as I consider myself "artistically challenged" but Ashley's guidance resulted in a beautiful end product that I was proud to display in my home. She was so encouraging and engaging that she put us all totally at ease as she walked us through the steps to build a bouquet. What I really enjoyed was that even though we all followed the same general structure, each flower bucket was slightly different (all the same flowers but different amounts/styles of cutting) so there was no way that any two bouquets would look alike. It was a great hour and a half with fabulous, friendly coaching and conversation and I would not hesitate to do a class again. Highly recommended as a unique date, day out, or gift for someone special. Note that they have transitioned from their large space along the main thoroughfare at Pearl; they are focusing on events now so they no longer function as a retail space.

Then, I was underwhelmed by the size of the arrangement. I had a few women co workers tell me that was about right for $150 plus shipping. I vehemently disagree. I guess flowers are just more expensive than I thought !? They also missed some of the more prominent colors of our wedding. The arrangement came off muted, not colorful like out wedding. Fantastic Flowers saved me from near disaster! I thought all hope was lost and that I was going to miss getting something special for my mother.
