She is very professional and pays attention to what you want and not what she thinks looks good (so many Stylists do that!). I finally needed a color change after two years of a reddish brown color that I was so sick of and Ceara was able to give me a warm brown that toned down the red tint that I didn't like. I absolutely love my cut and color! My hair hasn't felt this healthy in a long time. After following her advice of getting trims every 6 weeks, my hair is finally keeping it's length and growing. They have different tiers, $15, $30, $40, etc. so it was really easy to work into my budget. Maven is a lot different than any other place I've been to. The hair dressers don't have their own stations, which was strange to me. I'm used to places that feel more like you're at home. Even though Maven was a relaxing experience, it still just felt really uptight, if that makes sense. I may try it again in the future, but I feel like it might just be a one time experience for me.

Nicole did not speak or consult with me at all and had an assistant throw toner on my hair without even asking what I wanted and without telling me what they were doing to my hair. Thank god I spoke up. Still-- left with terrible hair dye job that looks like she literally put grays into my hair. I'm going to have to pick up some dye from Sally Beauty because I feel so ugly and the hair I painstakingly grew out is gone.
