Good anime products at decent prices (just a tad pricy on some items). The very sweet store owner/cashier was very helpful in finding various anime scroll posters and accessories. My kiddos were happy finding some of their favorite anime shows. Other great items, such as Pokemon, stuffed toys, BTS, pens, stationary and mini swords. Fun little novelty shop. I've been to the mall many many times, and while this may look good from the outside. It is horribly overpriced, Everything is THREE TIMES as expensive as literally anywhere else in the mall. I have personally checked different stores in different malls. When I asked why they were so overpriced, the man behind the counter was able to speak english enough to even tell me. Oh, so fancy! Fancy Way is a store in the Moreno Valley Mall that feels like a Cartoon Field (gosh I miss those stores) and a Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle store mixed into one and seasoned w/ a dash of class. They have a wide selection of goods, but tend to have more of some products than others. I would love to see this place carry more DVDs (even blurays), for example, as opposed to their selection of four or five... I would like them to carry more (Gundam) model kits and figurines over their assortment of POP! vinyls; I mean, I understand their popularity and that there's practically a POP! line for every fandom, but c'mon. I like that they have plushies, key chains, lanyards, and the like, but I don't think almost an entire wall along the length of the shop should be devoted to these items. They carry other products too like candy, backpacks, some home goods paraphernalia, etc. You can find stuff from various anime, Disney, and Hello Kitty to name a few. I'm not sure how long this place will last, but I hope they endure. I'm happy nonetheless to see any shop like this and I will return. This ish is so fancy I need two monocles! read more

I am horrified. I was a regular here with my daughter. Unfortunately, I have made my last purchase here (and I truly am bummed about it). I went in a week ago to buy a gift and I was skeptical about purchasing it because It was the only style they had in the size I was looking for. Given the fact that this lady does not allow returns, If the item did not fit, I wouldn't know what else to get from her store for this person. I asked her if for any reason, it doesn't fit her, would she allow me to return the item. She didn't even think twice about it, she right away said yes and told me to make sure that I had my receipt with me. It didn't fit! I took it back today (without my daughter) to get my refund and her daughter denied it! I explained to her that we had an agreement and asked her to please call her mom because I'm sure she would remember me (since she knows who I am). She called her, discussed it with her for about 3 minutes just so that she could deny that she had agreed to it. I trusted her because I use to go to this store often with my daughter and we would never leave empty handed so she knew who we were. After the phone call, I tried to look past it and agreed to store credit because my daughter I'm sure would be happy to use it anyway. So received my store credit and went on my way to a different store to find a replacement for the gift. After giving it some thought...I returned to the store and decided to keep the merchandise because even though it didn't fit the person I wanted it for, it is now the principal of the thing. This lady was dishonest about our agreement and I can not continue to give my money to people who don't hold their word. I support small businesses and respect everyone's hustle. Maybe there was a language barrier and she couldn't fully grasp my question but then that would be the time to apologize for the misunderstanding. Well, I got nothing. read more

tons of great anime and k pop merch! would definitely recommend if you are an anime fan or a k pop fan! they had many different anime merchandise to choose from but k pop only had its own little section. it was mostly bts merch but there were still some merch of other k pop groups. for the albums, i'm pretty sure they only had bts albums. if you're a vocaloid fan , they mostly only had miku posters and figures and nothing else really. oh and if you're looking for the bts albums, they are on the left side of the front counter. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The first experience I had at this store was rather irritating because I drove a distance to find a gift. Even though the hours stated that they opened at 10am, they were closed. I went in Round 1 to kill some time, and when I came out, they were still closed long after 10am had passed. I gave a 2 star review since I wasted time and gas driving to a store that was supposed to be open at 10am, but wasn't. I visited this place again after taking my kids to Round 1. The lady seemed very nice, so I updated my original review from 2 stars to 4. I didn't purchase anything, just browsing because my daughter loved the Alpacasso plush she saw inside the store and wanted a closer look, so we stopped in. I visited again today to look for an item my daughter said she saw inside Fancy Way that she really wanted for her birthday. Again, they were not open at 10am, so I went next door to Round 1 to kill time. I was thrilled that I was able to win an Alpacasso plush out of the UFO catcher for my daughter to give as a birthday gift. She had been wanting one for a long time, but they are expensive in the stores and I was never able to win her one until today. After I was done playing games at Round 1, I went to see if Fancy Way was open. They were, so I went in to see if they still had the item my daughter wanted. I didn't see the item, so I talked to the owner to see if they were going to get them in stock. She said no, so I looked around the store to see if there were any other items my daughter would like. I saw what looked like a Rilakkuma backpack, but upon closer inspection it looked like a knockoff with no official Rilakkuma tags. I left the store. On my way to the escalator I hear someone yelling, "Hey where did you get that?!" I turned around to see the crazy store owner. She actually left the store unattended with customers inside because she assumed I stole the Alpacasso plush I won at Round 1 from her shop! People sitting nearby were staring and it was really embarrassing. I told her I had won it at Round 1 and would be happy to go with her to talk to the Round 1 employee that had to help me get the prize from the machine when it got stuck in the prize chute. She backed off after that and slinked back to her shop with her tail between her legs and offered no apology for the accusation. It seems the lady that runs this shop has a habit of falsely accusing people of shoplifting and not apologizing by reading a previous review left for her shop by another Yelper. That's just unacceptable! Needless to say, I will NOT be going back. I don't need to buy their fake Kawaii crap for my daughter! I'll order the real thing from Japan LA! If Yelp would allow it, ZERO stars for pissing me off!!! read more
