These are definitely the best doughnuts and pigs I've ever eaten, and I'm a fat guy! they play around with new flavors and recipes which they can do because everything is made from scratch. They don't use The standard prepackaged stuff that most doughnut shops do. The level of customer service they provide really sets them apart from most places anymore. They treat everyone like they are their best friends. Sometimes they can be rude and crude but only when it seems right and lighthearted - for the laughs. Absolutely my favorite place to go in town. If you text ahead for a special order, they can do almost anything! The wife is so sweet and if you have any dietary restrictions they're willing to work with you! I love breakfast burritos but i can't eat sausage, so she's always able to whip up some potato, egg and cheese ones...HER SALSA IS TO DIE FOR. Her husband is the funniest dude in town and super sweet as well! He does all the sweet stuff. This place also does such a diverse selection of icings like mango, matcha and blueberry. These people here are amazing. Disregard these old reviews! This place is excellent. The staff is so sweet and kind also the donuts are amazing! They have iced donut holes which you don't see often (meaning like chocolate or strawberry iced) they are great. Also have a lemon blueberry donut which is great and cinnamon twist chocolate iced donut!!!! Their kolaches are best in huntsville me and my boyfriend have tried many places and this places takes the cake even over shipleys. Super soft and pillowy and great sausages. Love Love Love them. I have only been in three or so times, but each time has been wonderful. Owner is very nice, and offers quick and fast service to students, faculty/staff and every other Huntsvillian. He is friendly and very easy to strike up a conversation with, and the kolaches and tacos are delicious!! And the fact that the location is so close to the SHSU campus makes it a great temptation if you're in need of breakfast! I will definitely be returning again! read more

I went in this morning after a friend had tried this place out and recommended I go. The owner was there making fresh donuts and kolaches and was one of the kindest people I've met in the community. The glazed donuts were super fresh and perfect. We also had sausage kolaches which were awesome as well. It's nice to see someone put their heart in to their work and that's exactly what he does. Fancy Donut officially becomes my most favorite donut shop in town. They do have the best kolaches and I love their donut holes which have a rich buttery taste. My boyfriend loves the éclair because it is filled with cream all the way and not just a little bit like Shipley's éclair.
