Clean and very friendly. The glaze for the donuts are sugary sweet. The chocolate donuts are glazed donuts with chocolate icing added on top. The grandkids wouldn't eat them :( read more

Flavorful glazes, balanced dough with a light bite and good chew. Klobasnik (pig in a blanket) in a wide variety from spicy boudin to mini-pig. Kolache (fruit centered dough) we're as far from authentic as possible, yet still tasty in their own way. Kolache we're more like a holeless bagel with a divot topped with pie filling and cream cheese flavored glaze. The staff are kind and helpful. Facilities and parking are well maintained and easy to navigate. read more

We couldn't finish the donuts the icing had way to much vanilla the donut itself had a vanilla taste as well. The only positive not was the person working checkout was really nice and quick. read more

Owner called a tow truck on me within five minutes of parking because the neighboring restaurant had no spots left. I have a handicap tag but every spot was taken so I parked in the nearest spot I could find. its a Sunday night at 8pm and the owner was most likely just trying to wait for people to park to call the tow people on me. park here at your own risk, even if you are going to the donut store. read more

Probably my favorite kolaches in town! I've had kolaches from multiple places in huntsville and fancy's are my favorite by far! Their donuts are great too! The staff is always welcoming and friendly! read more

Looking for a quick stop on your way to Houston or Dallas stop here! We tried the kolache with jalapeño cheese and sausage, the chocolate sprinkle donut, and the pigs in a blanket. All were super soft and tasted so fresh, great customer service as well. Don't let the outside fool you the food is great!! read more

A Hidden gem in Huntsville! Love the owners. My son and I are regulars now, and Robert and his wife always remember us. Not your regular donut experience! Not to mention...they have the best donuts, etc. in town. They let you pick the filling in your "creme" filled donuts. Don't want bavarian...get lemon or raspberry instead! They don't fill any of their donuts until you order them. You can also get mini pigs (mini kolaches) - they're awesome. Best cinnamon rolls in town. Also, they're breakfast sandwiches and tacos - they use REAL bacon - no that pre-cooked stuff AND handmade sausage patties like you'd make a home. The eggs are cooked perfectly - never rubbery. You gotta give this place a try! read more

Fancy Donuts is easily some of the best most accessible donuts this close to campus. The owners are extremely kind and genuinely care for the business, which shows through the quality of their donuts. The donuts are amazing here. And the owners try to make an effort to talk to their customers and get to know them. But they took it a step too far the other morning by the amount of profanity the guy used while talking to me. He said he was joking, but i didn't see the humor in it. As much as I love the food there, I will probably not go back. read more

These are definitely the best doughnuts and pigs I've ever eaten, and I'm a fat guy! they play around with new flavors and recipes which they can do because everything is made from scratch. They don't use The standard prepackaged stuff that most doughnut shops do. The level of customer service they provide really sets them apart from most places anymore. They treat everyone like they are their best friends. Sometimes they can be rude and crude but only when it seems right and lighthearted - for the laughs. They do their very best to make sure you get your favorite doughnut even if there are none left. All-in-all their customer service is old school. Can't beat 'em. read more

Absolutely my favorite place to go in town. If you text ahead for a special order, they can do almost anything! The wife is so sweet and if you have any dietary restrictions they're willing to work with you! I love breakfast burritos but i can't eat sausage, so she's always able to whip up some potato, egg and cheese ones...HER SALSA IS TO DIE FOR. Her husband is the funniest dude in town and super sweet as well! He does all the sweet stuff. This place also does such a diverse selection of icings like mango, matcha and blueberry. Everything is made fresh everyday and it's so hard not to go in every morning before class, lol. read more

These people here are amazing. Disregard these old reviews! This place is excellent. The staff is so sweet and kind also the donuts are amazing! They have iced donut holes which you don't see often (meaning like chocolate or strawberry iced) they are great. Also have a lemon blueberry donut which is great and cinnamon twist chocolate iced donut!!!! Their kolaches are best in huntsville me and my boyfriend have tried many places and this places takes the cake even over shipleys. Super soft and pillowy and great sausages. Love Love Love them. I have only been in three or so times, but each time has been wonderful. Owner is very nice, and offers quick and fast service to students, faculty/staff and every other Huntsvillian. He is friendly and very easy to strike up a conversation with, and the kolaches and tacos are delicious!! And the fact that the location is so close to the SHSU campus makes it a great temptation if you're in need of breakfast! I will definitely be returning again! read more

I went in this morning after a friend had tried this place out and recommended I go. The owner was there making fresh donuts and kolaches and was one of the kindest people I've met in the community. Fancy Donut officially becomes my most favorite donut shop in town. They do have the best kolaches and I love their donut holes which have a rich buttery taste. My boyfriend loves the éclair because it is filled with cream all the way and not just a little bit like Shipley's éclair.
