She helped me find everything I needed, she made sure I got one of their punch cards (spend $200 get $10 off), and she told me hilarious personal stories. I don't go the mall often, but it's nice to have awesome customer service when I do. I used to buy my jeans here, but I haven't in forever. The price range is pretty high. I went to TJ Maxx this morning and when I got to a drive thru about 15 minutes away on the…read moreInterstate, I realized that I didn't have my purse and I was sure that I had left it at TJ Maxx in the cart. I called and the person answering the phone looked through the store reported back to me that it was not in the store. Sure that I had left it there, I drove back to the store and walked through it and waited in line to ask an employee if it had been turned in. It hadn't. The manager, Lacie (I believe her name was), walked with me through the store and even enlisted help from a couple of employees to look through the store for it and looked in trash bins and in the rest rooms and went above and beyond to help me in my frenzied state. We discussed doing a police report so that we could watch film and I left the store to determine next steps and called a friend that I had been on the phone with while I was shopping and she reminded me that I had told her that I was also going to go to Ross. I ran over to Ross and asked about it and they had my purse. I returned to TJ Maxx to thank Lacie for being so kind and helpful. I have never had someone be so accommodating and felt bad for the inconvenience that I had caused her. I only had a few minutes and couldn't see her in the store and felt bad that I couldn't thank her and let her know that I had it. She was so attentive and thoughtful. A friend told me that the best thing that I could do for her was to give her a good review and let her know how appreciated she is. So that is what I am doing. TJ Maxx has a golden employee in Lacie and they should be aware of the great customer service she provides at the Riverdale, UT store!

The shopping model is addictive with the regular coupons, Kohl's cash, and rewards points. They also have a wide selection of items that we tend to appreciate. In addition to clothes and shoes, we also purchased kitchen, home goods, bedding, bath, pet items, games, and seasonal options. They have an Amazon return station also that we've used a few times as an alternate to the UPS Store across the street. I found some items I wanted that I tried to purchase online, but would have had to wait 4-10 days for them to get it ready for in-store pickup. So I visited in person, and found everything I was looking for the same day. I also picked up a 70% off clearance item that I wouldn't otherwise have found online. They reworked the checkout from having several registers in their separate lines on both sides of the store, to a single queue line weaving through last minute displays to a bank of multiple registers in a line. You wait to be called to the next available register so no one can slip in front you. There was only one register open when I was there, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with my purchase. Then on my next visit, I asked for a private lesson where I could design a copper bowl on my own and re-make my silver snake ring into a bracelet. The ring was gorgeous, but was a bit heavy for my finger. Now the beautiful light bracelet is just perfect! The abstract bowl I made is also very much to my style. But I certainly appreciated the technique Rene taught me in making the proper round bowl. Everyone in the shop is super nice, from the artist to front desk people, everyone is just warm and happy being. I highly recommend the classes in this place. So reasonably priced and so worth it!

The weird part of their return policy was that we had to spend the credit from our return that day. Why? Do you not have gift cards? Kind of annoying but we complied, found some things, and made our way out of there. I do appreciate that even the clearance rack was well organized by size. That made our life easier. When I came into the store, I was limping. After trying on new shoes, I was able to walk much better, which was a big relief. Unfortunately, my one-star rating is due to the customer service. The sales representative listed on my receipt, Aly W., was less than helpful. She seemed flustered and in a hurry for me to leave the store. I felt rushed and uncomfortable, even though I was clearly struggling to walk and needed assistance finding the right pair. Because I felt pressured and desperate for relief, I ended up purchasing a pair that did not turn out to be the best fit, even though they felt okay at first. About 30 minutes later, I returned because the shoes were hurting my feet. During the exchange, Aly appeared to have been on break and seemed annoyed to assist me. While I understand that everyone has difficult moments, there was no reason to make me feel like a burden. If she was unable to help at that time, it would have been more professional to ask another employee to assist me. I ultimately purchased a men's pair because I was told the women's version was not available. I spent $180 + tax. Thankfully, my toes are improving, and I hope to return to my regular women's size soon. However, due to this experience, I do not plan on returning to Ogden Running Company on Washington Blvd. Customer service has a significant impact, especially when a customer is in pain and genuinely needs help. No one should feel rushed or unwelcome when seeking assistance. It took me more than three months to feel comfortable enough to write this review.
