Understandable, but an important detail for the rest of this, so we planned for 7:30. At 7:30 Azra promptly took one of my sons to her station. She went through what we wanted, and gave my son a fantastic haircut. Highly recommend her. The other (blonde, I didn't catch her name) stylist was still chatting with her assumedly, 7pm appointment. 7:40 passed. Then 7:50. At 7:54, 24 minutes past our appointment, she walked to the front and made no attempt to apologize or even address the delay. She said two words: "you ready?" I simply replied that no, we would take our business elsewhere. She again made no reference to missing the scheduled time, and replied, "ok, I'll take him off." Zero stars for that. Azra had completed my other son's cut and was washing it by then. The experience she provided managed to pull this review up to three stars. Be careful who you book with!

How the times have changed! Lately I've been going back here even though I no longer live in the area. Since the end of Covid I have not had one good haircut here. None of the barbers seems to know how to give a normal, regular haircut. They can shave your head or give you a crew-cut, but "regular" haircuts are just not an option. Either they neglect the sides and leave you with straggly hair around the ears (!), or they screw up the back and put a line in it after you tell them "no line," or they leave weirdly long, uncut strands here and there in front that you have to fix yourself when you get home. The last straw was the guy who works by the window. On my most recent visit (which will also be my last EVER), he yanked and pulled very aggressively with the comb, pulling out hair by the roots. As if this wasn't painful enough, he placed the comb at my hairline, pressed down as hard as he could, then gouged it backwards causing EXTREME pain. I decided to "be a man" and say nothing but the pain was out of this world -- never had anything like that in my life. When I got home and shampood, the sting was so painful I realized he had cut the scalp in several places and I was bleeding. It took TWO WEEKS for the wounds to heal and the scabs to fall off. Explain to me how a middle aged man who is in the business of cutting hair could be SO STUPID as to not know how to comb it without tearing it out by the roots or carving bloody scratches into your scalp. Either he is a moron or he was giving me "the treatment" so I would never return, which is strange since I always tip $3 and am very nice to them no matter how inept the haircut. UNBELIEVABLE. Again, I will NEVER go back to this place!

Waiting times can be long I once waited up to a hour just for my hair to be cut. Reviews elsewhere show multiple barbers in the shop however when I went those multiple times there was only 1 which was Sam. Also the price is $30 for a haircut which is extremely overpriced for the bad quality haircut I received should be at most $10. I believe the reviews online for this place are either fake or they don't know a good haircut.

Some in our society look down on the $10 cut, while I actively seek it out... there is nothing finer than having a good haircut on the cheap. When I walked inside, I instantly got the impression that this place was pretty new. Listening to the owner/barber (stylist? It was a lady...) talk to some of the other patrons, it was all but confirmed. I don't know how long she's been in business, but it looks like they're just starting out. That being said, the inside leaves you with a little bit of an empty feeling as the walls are almost bare. Not that I want fine paintings all over, but it seems to me that most barbers/salons usually have something, even if it is only pictures of people with awesome haircuts, on the walls. The rest of the inside stuff was tastefully done, however. I dug it. Not too fancy, but not a dump either. The real gravy is in the haircut. It's pretty hard to really screw up my cut, so I'm not going to mention whether it was good or not because, well, it came out fine as usual. It doesn't take a lot of skill to make me happy. I will comment that Victoria was great at striking that delicate balance between too much talking and talking just enough so I wasn't sitting there all awkward like. None of that usual, "So what are you doing this weekend?" bullcrap a lot of other places like to pull. Thumbs up to you, Victoria. So it was an okay haircut for a great price.
