I seriously don't understand the low reviews. This place must be under new ownership because I've been to a lot of buffets and this place is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Food quality is great. Actually insanely high. The taste is phenomenal and the staff is friendly. I'm here for lunch and can't figure out why this place is always empty. I've been living in Jefferson county for almost 5 years I . Have visited different Chinese restaurants buffet style in this area . Not a fan of any of them . January 2026 we decided to try Famous buffet even though the reviews were not convincing. I'm not sure if they change staff but the food it's fantastic . It's delicious . Every single plate is delicious. We have gone on Saturday's at noon. The place it's clean inside . We visited them on Saturday Feb 14 , they had dinner all day . Again it was delicious and clean . This is a favorite lunch spot for one of my friends. It is located in a nearby former Kmart building with plenty of free parking outside. It is usually not crowded. The food is not bad once you decide which items are your favorites. They do a decent job of restocking supplies of food. We plan on return visits. read more

Pleasant and clean. Everything I saw looked fresh. Everything I ate was fresh and correct temperature. Buffet had good variety. Sushi bar had a fair variety. Service was good. If I could give them a Big ZERO I would. We came with a big party and they miscounted us by addingg 1 Extra adult and . They also tried to charge us for 6 kids when we only had 2 big kids and 2 little kids. The other kids were 2 and 1. We tried telling them my son was only 2. His birthday is November 2018. Today is July 2018. He told is it is 2018 and he is 3. We tried to correct him and and tell him. We even told the waitress when we sat down 2 big kids and 2 little kids and 2 free kids. I guess next time I will bring a Birth Certificate for him. I guess they are willing to lose customers over $5 from a $300 ticket. read more

Ate here for convenience, got overcharged. Was yelled at when I tried to correct them. Sadly enough, this is not the first, second, or even third time they overcharged. Whether it be the meal or a drink, they will find a way to cheat you! Food: Regular selection of a chinese buffet. While dining, asked for sushi protein on the side in order to not waste rice (I was taking the protein off) Was handed a plate of FROZEN eel. Okay, maybe I should of been more specific? When you walk in, there is a price board behind the counter. There's "lunch" and "dinner" prices with what they charge by age. 2 and under is free, 3-5, 6-10, and 11+ are the age groups. We ate on Sunday at 11:00 AM. Look at the price board, just under $9 a person. When complained about being overcharged, was told we were paying weekend lunch price ($3 more a person.) Okay, so why don't you show that on your price board? We had a party of over 20. Sadly, again, this is not the first time we were charged differently from what we were told. Customer service: Horrible. Save yourself some trouble and make yourself a sandwich at home!!! ADVICE: If you decide to dine here, make sure you count out loud while you walk in so they don't try to cheat you. Also, only order a single drink and do not move to another seat while dining. This is apparently how they verify your party size. Number of cups on table, and how many seats were used. Not by the actual number of bodies there. RIDICULOUS. read more

I enjoy the food selection and price. Steak from the grill, shrimp in many delicious ways, crabs and crawfish along with many different oriental side dishes and all taste great! You can barely get a good burger meal elsewhere for the price you pay for a buffet of this quality. Everything is so good that I can never get even a little bit of all the things that I like before I am full. So... I am going back today to get some of the other things that I like that I did not get last time. We went there for lunch my crew of 7 and I. The food was great no complains on it. But the service is relly poor, the waitress left us unattended it, and I went through almost the entire meal with out getting my drink refill. And not only me but my crew also we were getting thirsty and I got relly upset when I was looking for the waitress he was having standing around having a good time with his co workers just standing around talking, while we were out of drinks. And to make it worst when the waitress finally came, he snatch d cup of my hand like if he was mad b cause I wanted a refill. What a poor service.
