At first I was skeptical of this place because I didn't think Belgian waffles was deserving of its own stall. I thought that is was just going to be another fad. Well, I was wrong.
It turns out this place has merits and you can do a lot with Belgian Waffles. Mixing it with different fillings like chocolate, peanut butter and fruits make it interesting and even more tasty. My favorite would be the ham and cream cheese, but the peanut butter waffle was yummy too.
Don't expect to be full after eating one waffle sandwich. The waffle itself is quite thin and a little too sloppy to hold without the wrapper. Well, the size is just enough for the price, I guess. I also realized, after eating several waffle sandwiches in one sitting (I shared it with my baby bro), that the simpler varieties (with only one filling) taste better than the waffles with two or more fillings. Probably because the waffles get softer the more you fill it. That only means that they're generous with the fillings.
Nevertheless, I'm glad I gave this new place a try. Yay for another cheap thrill! read more
