Studio 4 art offers both. We signed our daughter up for one of the weekly camps and she loved every day of it! It was "clay week", so every day they've been doing activities with clay - the wheel, braiding clay into basket forms, and making all kinds of things. The studio will fire them in the kiln and you can then take them home the next week. Outside of the camps during school breaks, you can do the drop in/drop off option and the kids can pick the activity they'd like to do. It's about the same cost as paying a sitter/nanny, so it seems a great option for a few hours when needed between 10a.m. and 5:30 p,m, M - F. Apparently they also do kids birthday parties on the weekends and some Fridays. What a great, artistic option for kids!

On August 2, 2025, my husband and I took…read moremy adult niece and nephew as well as my BIL to Create It for an afternoon of ceramic painting. It was my niece's 20th birthday. Since my husband and I live out of state, the employees told us (and it is clearly posted) that they would ship our items. I received the items yesterday and the platter was broken. Unfortunately, it was shipped in a very flimsy box with little tape and padding. The package was not secure in any way. Obviously we were disappointed that our item did not arrive as we were looking forward to seeing it. I reached out to the business and asked for a manager or owner. I was told that the employee I was speaking to could handle my issue. After explaining the problem and asking for a refund of the cost of the platter and shipping, she told me she needed to speak with the owner and get back to me. When the employee returned my call she said the owner had insured my package for $100 through the carrier and I should just submit a claim to them. I told the employee since they had poorly packaged the ceramics, they should make the claim and in either case, refund the cost. I then received an email from the owner stating that they make no refunds on items shipped. Although most people reading this will not need to utilize shipping from Create It, I think it is important to note the over-all attitude towards customer service. In this case, it would not be difficult for the owner to do the right thing. I will make the claim, but doubt it will be refunded since it's obvious to anyone that this package was in no way packed appropriately.

We ended up having to wait around 20 minutes before a table freed up so I definitely suggest calling ahead to make a reservation! The owner of this business was incredibly nice. She took time to explain the glazes and how the process of painting our pieces worked. There is a flat fee of $15/person and you get unlimited time in the studio to paint your pieces. There was a wide range of glazes available for you to paint with. My only gripe was the condition the paintbrushes were in.. I was not able to find a brush for finer details and most of the paintbrushes were old with fraying brushes. The total price depends on the piece or pieces that you choose to paint. Our total ended up being $65 (you can get a 20% discount if you follow their social media or print a coupon from their website). Overall this was a great experience and I would love to visit again! We recently attended a sip and paint event, and the staff was kind enough to offer us free studio time when we couldn't complete our projects that night. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive; they're always quick to provide more paint or offer helpful tips.
