Horrible staff manners at the front desk. Attitude from the moment my daughter and I walked in. Lady working the desk tried to bully my daughter with short, sharp comments such as snapping at her about being 3 minutes late. My kid is struggling with a few things, and going to a doctor's office is where she should be going for care. She should feel safe. But when I stepped in, because nobody will be bullying my kid, the office help decided to hand me over to the manager, Lisa. Didn't get much further with her either. Kept rambling on about office policy and how the NP we were scheduled to see runs a really tight schedule to stay on time. Not true. I see the same NP, Ashlie Head, and she takes her time with her patients. Listens to them, displays wonderful bedside manners, and is a trusted individual. Both professionally and personally. If it weren't for her we'd be taking our business elsewhere. Very disappointing experience at the front desk. I'm a professional, management level employee at the company I work for. If I oversaw that office there would be top to bottom changes. read more

So sad this place was great before it expanded. You would get personal care and your doctor had availability to see you. Now you cannot get an appointment sooner than 3 months out. Also got hurt at work just needed to see my doctor to verify injury for workman comp case. Couldn't get in sooner than 2.5 months. Insurance lapsed the office manager refused me service because the insurance ran out 3 days prior. I explained the situation she turned me away said it policy they cannot bill me personally after being a patient over 10 years. Then got a bill for missing my appointment. I have spoken to billing twice and this was supposed to be handled. Got another bill today with that same charge. So sad but just know here you are a number and nothing more. read more

Hello, I normally see Brianne. She is awsome. Recently my wife, who use to work for family health, had a disagreement with Lisa the office manager. Now I have not received any notices from your offices other than bills. So as of the next day. I received a automated phone call saying my appointment for Jan 8th was canceled and is not even showing up on my calender as canceled. The next day we received one for my son who is a minor. I REALLY hope this is not Family Healths decision to abandon their patients. I have called over and over left messages with no response from your office. We have even reached out to Bri personally as she was going ro figure out what was happening. So I guess I'm asking do I still have a doctor or do I need to find a new one. At that point I would like a reason why we are being patient abandoned by family health. This is not the first run in with Lisa our family has had. She is the reason my wife left family health. Now my in-laws my sister inlaws family the 4 of us in my house hold and several other friends of the family we have brought to Family health despite Lisa's continuous actions are asking.... what is going on. If you need to see a doctor, don't come here! The receptionists won't allow you too! I have been a patient here for years and the reception desk could not even schedule an appointment for me to see my doctor. I called multiple times which were all sent to voicemail. The reception desk does NOT make an effort to call back, even though it is their job. I'm changing clinics because of the unprofessionalism in this organization. The unprofessionalism is far too much. I would suggest to others to find a different clinic to go to. read more

DISTRESSFUL. INTOLERABLE. ACCUSED ME OF LYING. TOLD I TALKED WITH A WORKER ABOUT AN APPT CHANGE 2 HOURS BEFORE ARRIVAL WHEN I DID NOT. Came in for a scheduled appt. Told I was called and spoke with. I had no calls and spoke with no one that day. Only many calls, texts and emails for time I arrived. OFFICE MANAGER LISA came to discuss what could be done. Was told over and over (4 times by my count) "Teresa made a note saying she spoke with you today and she's one of our best employees". When I exclaimed, "If I talked with someone, do you think I would be standing here?!" LISA responds, "Maybe you were half asleep when you talked with Teresa." I told LISA I feel like you're accusing me of lying. "Teresa is one of our best employees and she made a note saying she spoke with you." I told them to cancel any appointments even though it's difficult to make any medical appointments and will hurt me more. But HOW CAN I PUT MY HEALTH IN THE HANDS OF PEOPLE THAT THINK I'M LYING? As I turn away to leave, LISA makes a comment in a snarky tone, "HOPE YOUR DAY GETS BETTER!" (Why? I'm leaving? Very uncalled for.) An hour later I got a call from LISA saying, "We did some investigating and it was a call to someone else. You were absolutely right." NO APOLOGY. PLEASE BE WARNED. LISA is the OFFICE MANAGER and will boldly YELL at a client WITHOUT ALL THE FACTS. As a major representation of this HEALTH facility, who would you talk to if you had a health problem? Her, and I find this a great example to her character and how she would handle anyones health care concerns. I FEEL DISRESPECTED AND HURT BY LISA'S POOR DECISIONS. I really hope she learned a lesson in listening to your patients. read more

Dr Taylor Frederick is the absolutely BEST healthcare physician I've ever had. She is so caring and professional with everything she does. She listens to you and ACTUALLY cares about you and your issues. I've never had a healthcare physician who genuinely cares about you and your well being. She is the best thing to happen to Family Health considering some of the other physicians are kinda rude and have a idgaf attitude. Wherever she goes I will follow!! She makes family healthcare SO MICH BETTER!! I LOVE HER!!! read more

Dr Sekhon is my primary care physician and I could not be more pleased with his attentiveness and genuine care. As a hospital based RN I see many physicians come and go quickly while making rounds in hospital. I was recently hospitalized myself and was followed by a Family Health physician while in hospital and there was no rushing in and out. I highly recommend Family Health. read more

I received my care at this place for twelve years 2008-2020. Even in the early days it was just OK, the last four to five years it declined rapidly. The front desk staff has got to be some of the most unprofessional, rude and irritable group of folks I have ever experienced. Every once in a while you will get a decent experience and shown some common decency but the majority of the time you are spoken to like cattle who are inconveniencing them by your presence. I wonder if there is any type of recurring customer service training or quality control at Family Health (Hello! Office manager where are you?), and why put your most miserable human beings who obviously don't want to be there as the face of your business. I don't like to go to work every day either, but I am a professional and I will never display my emotions to a client and will do everything possible to give them a positive experience. (Even if I am tired, hungry and want to go home). Another sad but true part of the experience of Family Health is listening to the front desk openly complain about patients, doctors, their personal problems etc. for all to hear. I have sat in the waiting room on many a day and experienced this. The Doctor care there was sufficient and my kids pediatrician was good which kept me from going elsewhere. The last couple of years I dreaded having to visit due to the negative atmosphere, luckily I have moved and no longer have to endure those dirty looks and curt irritable comments from the front desk. I had an appointment with Dr. Jurasek's Nurse Practitioner Rachel Kelly for my broken foot and never was told their recommendation for not to drive. I called to ask for a prescription for a temporary handicap parking and they didn't give it to me due to their recommendation. I am disappointed that the practitioner does not realize some people have to work and don't have family or people to transport them around. I am quite displeased by this medical professional's decision to not allow prescription, despite my issues and situation. read more

Highly incompetent staff. Can't do simple tasks such as sending a fax and I have seen 3 different nurse practitioners now, one laughs at you if you start crying, and the other two don't want to work with you and are eager to dismiss issues and send you out the door. However, they seem to have no problem taking your copay/money, that seems really easy for them. read more

Dr Sheinfeld HORRIBLE. He was assigned to evaluate me when I was hospitalized with ulcers in my stomach. If I could have know what was to follow I have chosen the pain from the ulcers over the treatment I received from him. First off, when awakening from my scope I was sadden to not receive an update on how everything went. Instead he flew off to the parking lot to leave. I had to insist he be brought back to explain if the procedure he'd just performed on me was successful or not. The next day when he came to follow up he punted all recovery responsibility and instructions for me to some other Dr who haven't been part of the scope at all. He insisted I schedule a colonoscopy to be safe, which I did, but before the appointment I awoke in excruciating pain and rushed to the hospital where I asked that Dr Sheinfeld help me with pain management and possible further testing. That or course didn't happen and for 25 hours I bounced from hospital to hospital searching for help and answers and every time was told that Dr Sheinfeld had to attend to this as it was his specialty. He refused me and type of testing, pain relief or explanation. Instead, hiding behind his horrible assistant to explain that there was nothing they could do and perhaps I should look for another Dr. Obviously I did and immediately canceled the upcoming colonoscopy we had scheduled. I hope nobody ever has to experience the feeling I went thru which I basically sum up as being a hack job then bye! I urge anyone considering this man for any medical care to seriously reconsider this Dr!!! read more

Tried explaining something to her and she basically called me a liar. Was supposed to have a test scheduled. Was supposed to get a call from Denise. She sat on the order for at least a month.
