I've been going to this practice for the last 3 years and I can honestly say it's the best care I have ever received! I am 30 years old with a history of an L5 compression fracture when I was 18. I played college sports and now am not as lumber as I used to be. Getting chiropractic care has literally been the only reason why I can still continue to be active and doing the things I love! Dr. Aaron has been my chiropractor for about a year now and he has done an amazing job! His knowledge and experience with not only spinal adjustments, but LIMB adjustments as well, has me coming back on a regular basis. I also suffered from plantar fasciitis and Dr. Aaron has been one of the reasons I can honestly say my feet do not hurt any longer. This practice run by Dr. Cliff, Dr. Rick, and Dr. Jack (Reno office) is an amazing example of people who not only love what they do, but love to see people getting better and improving their lives! Highly highly recommend! read more

My family and I have been patients at Family First since 2005. Each person, from staff to the Doctors are extremely caring, respectful & compassionate. We truly feel that we are a part of the family at Family First! read more

We have been patients at Family First since 2008 and can only say wonderful things about the whole crew! When we first started with Family First, we had a $20 co-pay with our insurance. As the years go by and insurance changes, we find ourselves with a plan that doesn't work at Family First. Family First has kept our out-of-pocket cost affordable. Thank you! I work graveyard and will call as I am leaving work to see if I can get adjustment. No problem, they tell me to stop on by and take care of me. Our daughter hurt her shoulder years ago in high school by lugging her books back and forth to school. Her doctor had her in physical therapy for three months before she felt better. When she re-injured her shoulder, as an adult, I suggested that she try the chiropractor first. After two weeks, she was fine. WOW! Not only do they offer great services for your spine, they also offer classes how to make positive changes in your life such as nutrition! read more

Now if you're expecting an adjustment after a few minutes of checking in and telling the doc your back hurts here, you'll be disappointed. But that's a good thing, for starters they will scan your spine and your back muscles with some sensors. Then they'll take some x-rays and explain what they see going on with the scan. The doc will examine your x-rays before your next visit. On your second visit the doctor will explain in Great detail what they see going on with your spine, develop a treatment plan and tell you what you can reasonably expect to improve. I did not know what I was missing, and now have a new standard/expectations for care read more

Ray at Family First Chiropractic is amazing and so is the other staff. The treatment I recieved in my third trimester was immensely helpful. The progress I have made in my treatment has helped me physically and the reduction of pain has helped my mood. Ray is very professional and respectful. I appreciate the hospitality given, as well as the focus on my personal concerns along with those of the medical professional. read more

Not sure even where to start here... I had been very skeptical of the whole Chiropractor thing most of my life. Some coworkers mentioned the same hesitation until they went to Family First. I have to say they have really made me feel like family. I had only been going there a few weeks and I had shared that I would miss an appointment as I would be out of town for a funeral for my grnadfather. Can you believe when I returned from my trip, I had a post card from First Family expressing their condolences for my loss. Crazy above and beyond if you ask me. Dr. Cliff has been great. I have some issues in my neck that have plagued me for years. I'm thinking with his help I am addressing some pain that I have just learned to deal with over the years. I would highly recommend as I already have with plenty of my friends that are also skeptical. read more

I am not exaggerating when I say that Dr Katelyn has changed my life. I had been in pain for over 4 years (from being pregnant) and then had a fall at a skate park which made the pain almost unbearable. I came here from the suggestion of a friend and am so happy I did! Dr Katelyn did a full assessment with x-rays and showed me why I was experiencing so much pain. It took a couple weeks of getting adjusted but little by little the pain subsided and now I am pain free. I am able to be more active with my daughter and workout without stopping because everything hurts. I appreciate the care I have received here so much. I often have to take my daughter with me to appointments and they love having her there. The practice is very kid friendly. They really want to treat the entire family and make everyone feel their best. The office staff is also so lovely. They remember everyone and are so helpful with whatever is needed. I am so thankful I have found this practice! read more

I have been coming to this office for years. In the beginning, I was pleased, although a bit put off by the $ amount of the "treatment plan" they ask you to commit to with a monthly payment. After several years, I'm looking for a new chiropractor. Why? Because I feel like I never get any answers to my questions about what is going on with my body! I just keep getting the same adjustments time after time with no lasting improvement and virtually no advice or even comments when I ask what these things could be caused from. An updated exam and treatment plan would be terrific, along with some concrete advice. I feel like a number the last few years - no advice other than to limit stress - just cycle me through as quickly as possible because the office is always extremely busy as well, too much so. The Likes: The drop table method, the initial consults, will fit you in if necessary. The Dislikes: No updates on how to best care for my body, a little too much like a social club, the cost, still struggling with constant misalignments after years with no advice on how to change this, inconsistent amount of time spent adjusting and using other tools (one time, I feel like I get what my body needs, other times, I feel like I get the bare minimum and am pushed out the door still feeling the pain I came in to relieve). I'm not a chiropractor newbie. I've gone to others throughout my lifetime in other areas of the country. As much as they make certain people feel welcome, I feel like a number. Eh, I kept hanging on hoping it would get better, but it has not, so I'm out. read more

I have been coming here for years & have never felt better! I beat myself up pretty god between work, sports & kids. Rick & Cliff put me back together! Katie & Jennifer hold everything together for them & you truly feel like your with a family! read more

This staff goes the right route! This was my first time ever experience at the chiropractor and I absolutely love it! Dr. Ray and team started Xrays and exams before starting any adjustments. It was a constant comforting atmosphere. I had symptoms of numbing and muscle weakness and after my first adjustment I already had major relief! read more

I was having pain in my knee, had trouble walking, getting up from sitting and it just affected my quality of life. After months dealing with an orthopedic doctor and physical therapy and still no relief, a friend recommended I see her Chiropractor. What? No way? But I was at the end of my rope. I googled Family First Chiropractic in Sparks... okay, good, close to work, easy parking. I clicked on the email link and wrote a short inquiry. Within the hour I received an email back from Jen. She was positive and supportive... but still in doubt, I asked more questions. Again, quick and positive response. I made and appointment. When I walked in for my first appointment the front desk was happy! Then Emily took me to the first exam room and she was happy and positive and made it so comfortable. Then I met with Dr Steve Perry, from the first time he touched my back I have been pain free. I am a Chiropractor believer and continue to see Dr Perry weekly. Because of my experience, my husband decided he should go too. He went from taking pain meds daily for his back and knee to pain free. Family First Chiropractics, Dr Steve Perry and staff are warm, happy and very welcoming, no matter the day nor time. They gave me my quality of life back. Thank you! read more

I've had great care for years here, but the recently they decided to quit taking health care insurance. I used to pay $15 a month for 2 adjustments, now it will over $100. Seems like a bad desision read more

I cannot believe that my insurance is to thank for finding this place! I drive from Truckee all the way to Sparks because I get a much better price than most of our Chiropractors In Ca. So I drive across a state line & 3 Towns. What I found was the best office in 25 years of being a patient. Fisher Fam Chiro is an experience! Starts with the best front desk that you have EVER dealt with! Jen, Katie, Cece, & Anita are my fav's! Dr. Rick is the coolest & Dr. Cliff is the glue that keeps them all moving. After seeing the Dr & getting the right treatment, you will get a 10 min rest that you probably really need! What else can I say but DO IT!? If your here looking that means you need them! read more

I'm so thankful to Dr Cliff and his staff. I called this morning and was able to be seen in 30 minutes.

The assistants are always smiley and genuinely friendly. Im a big fan of Dr. Rick. He'll answer all your questions and never seems like he's in a rush. Cool guy! read more

I'll be the first one to say chiropractors used to scare me to death. I started going when I was pregnant and now I swear by them and refer them to anyone and everyone! I've seen several doctors here but mainly saw Dr. Rick. He knew I started out terrified and made sure I was comfortable and told me exactly what he was doing before he would adjust me. The staff is excellent as well (I'm super picky about offices because I expect friendliness from walking in to walking out). The front desk is super friendly. I look forward to going to this office because of the atmosphere and I don't have to deal with any rude staff (which is hard to find nowadays) read more

The worst experience EVER! I was in so much pain and could not get an adjustment. It's worse than an Amway pitch. They make you watch a video, fill out a ton of paperwork, have several discussions about pain and experience with chiropractors, excessive x-rays but NEVER a freaking adjustment. By the 3rd visit - still no adjustment - I left and never looked back. I drove down the street, walked into a Chiropractors office, explained that I had a pinch in my neck and was adjusted the same day. DO NOT GO TO THIS Chiropractor. It's a scam to get you to make as many visits as possible so that they can bill your insurance company. It's about money for these people, not good care. A good Chiropractor will NEVER ask you to make multiple appointments before making an adjustment. read more

The staff at Family First Chiropractic is indeed "as good as it gets". At a time when Customer Service seems to be a thing of the past, this office is polar opposite. Every client is met with a warm smile and hello. I see Dr. Cliff every other Wednesday and leave there feeling fabulous. It is the maintenance component that I need and appreciate. It is apparent that their goal is to provide good health; mind, body and spirit. Mission accomplished. read more

Extremely friendly and helpful receptionists. Steve Perry is the chiropractor I see, and he is very kind and answers all of my questions without making me feel dumb. Since I started seeing then two weeks ago my pain has decreased so much that I feel like a new woman. I am eight months pregnant and they are so accommodating and make me feel comfortable. read more

Ok let me first start by saying that this place is great! I am confident that they are all about making people feel better. They listen to the patients needs and they make you feel like part of a family. Cliff is pretty great btw and Jen she is my long lost bff lol! Just great people. The most thorough exam I've ever had for a chiro appt. read more

Our whole family goes to Family First. We always feel much better after our adjustments with Dr. Steve.

I have been a patient at Family First for over 10 years. I see Dr. Rick for neck and back pain, my husband for shoulder pain and both our children for sports injury and sleep issues. Family First can address any issue and with phenomenal and consistent professionalism. Their offices feel very modern, clean and up to date. Their staff is friendly and welcoming but most important I always feel better when I leave. There's no pressure - just great service and constructive thorough follow up recommendations. We are very grateful and loyal patients and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. read more

Was a fantastic experience from the desk person to the aid to the chiropractor Harry. phenomenal place no need to look any further

I have had only GREAT adjustments at this office. Dr. Rick was my usual doctor but Steve has helped me a handful of times. I have upper back pain and was in a major car accident while I was their patient. These doctors helped so much. I found them at a wellness expo and was drawn in by Jen. An amazing personality. The whole staff is over the top bubbly in a welcoming, not off-putting way. The whole staff becomes your family. The adjustments are great. Manual spinal manipulation. I have held back information of where I have pain and Dr. Rick always found my issues. They are great people who better than great at adjusting. The only reason I stopped going to them, was because I moved, and haven't found anyone as good yet. After the car accident they referred me to a massage therapist in addition to the adjustments. read more
